I really wish Knowles would have brought up the point that even though a lot of us don't buy the global warming hysteria, that it doesn't necessarily mean that we are against keeping the planet clean and reducing pollution. i seriously think we could win a lot of peoples hearts with that message, otherwise they think we just want to shit where we eat, so to speak.

Just like laws have been passed to cause employers to hire different races and genders, the universities and colleges should be forced to hire equal numbers of left and right leaning professors. This would help to shift the education system from leftists control greatly if the students could get a more equal conservative view point as part of their education.

Howdie there. You look ever so healthy, and I am so happy to see it. I am praying that your liking cigars so much will lessen drastically. I do not condemn, of course, or you might yell at me for eating so much bread; but I am working on it. I am concerned because of my being convinced that you are called to spread the gospel. Of course, right now it is mixed with politics; but then what good is knowledge that doesn't work on earth. We must deal with what is. You are pleasant to hear, and I believe you are one of the elements in todays society fit to heal, and to shame the devil. However, I am not even close to being Catholic, or Jew; but you and Ben are really good stuff for this crazy world. Please remain watchful, keep the good stuff stirred. Pray every day; do not drift into slumber, and yet know that you need never thirst again. Much love. You can call me Grammy.

I hope you get to read this... you can be of any political or religious belief and get stuck in the mud. What is the mud? It’s a place where you are safe and comfortable but rigid. It’s the rigidity that keeps you from being excited about life because there’s nothing left to learn or look forward to. Days are spent reinforcing the same beliefs over and over. So try this: watch videos that do not follow your beliefs and see how many reasonable things they say. See if you can understand why they believe what they believe. It probably won’t change you dramatically but it’ll give you a fresh look at life, politics and religion.

Power is what makes someone right, not the act of being right itself.. according to society.. you have to be known, and of a high-position of respect/authority to ever truly be heard/listened to... if your not then your opinion counts for shit.. and no-one will believe anything you say even if you are.. or in the case of a trauma that also had impact/effect of you never having gained that position of respect, now your Unrespected so you lose all that belief of the people.. (because you didn't gain it in the first place, the first pedestal to make that milestone/check) which means it could take you another 100 years just to reach the position that you used to be.. especially if you were a guy like Thomas Edison/albert Einstein who never BECAME albert Einstein or Thomas-Edison, no-one will ever know any different. and it will be like that for the rest of your no-good rotten life.. everything is JUST... irrelevant, forever.. because no-one can see what you used to be or could have been so its all invisible/invisibly irrelevant.. it means bamboozle sticks/crum-sticks... you see.. you never got a foothold in the first place, so now you will never have that same foothold ever again.. because only you understood that foothold that other people would have respected you/believed you forever but because you didn't, you've essentially lost that footstep forever because its all invisible and being invisible means no-one knows you were a Thomas-Edison equivalent to an average guy who just lost a relatively minor thing..

Why did he say EV is worse than gasoline? Source?
@ab5olut3zero95
@ab5olut3zero95 5 жыл бұрын
Multiple studies (generally those without a pre-conceived agenda) have shown that both life-cycle analyses of the vehicle itself coupled with the pollution required to actually make the electricity to charge said vehicle, they pollute 3-5 times as much as simple gasoline vehicles. First, the mining processes to get the rare earth materials to build the batteries and circuitry are incredibly harmful to the environment; most are mined in or by countries such as China with virtually no environmental regulation via strip-mining processes with no restoration of the areas resulting in horrendous environmental damage. Second, the necessary electricity to charge said vehicle is still provided primarily by coal-fired power plants, with all other forms of generation coming in a far distant second. Wind and solar power are inefficient, ineffective, and incredibly damaging to the surrounding environment. For example, a massive solar farm out west, I forget where precisely, generates enough radiated solar heat that it actually ignites birds in flight. Wind farms have similar problems with birds, in addition to being totally dependent on inconsistent wind to work. Nuclear power generation is by far the safest and most efficient form of generation, but makes up less than 10% of all power generation plants. Finally, destruction and recycling of the vehicle is generally somewhere between 70-100 thousand miles. The processes to properly recycle these vehicles do not exist and currently they are simply destroyed and effectively buried, which allows the materials specifically from the batteries to pollute the surrounding environment. Obviously, this is not something people like Elon Musk wants to be popularly known. After a quick online search, all the studies I saw promoting EVs are either far out of date or do not take into account one or more factors mentioned above. Taken in aggregate, they are overall more harmful.
@chriscockrell9495
@chriscockrell9495 5 жыл бұрын
@@ab5olut3zero95 You are correct about nuclear. I'm a EE and work at an electric utilities. Yes, much of the power supply is "dirty" but the production at a commercial coal plant is way better than what gasoline combustion engines produce and it is more and more natural gas for commercial with is a little better. Intermittent sources are as bad as you say. They are a relatively cheap resources, cheaper to install than all the base load resources like coal or gas. The NREL data show this improvement very well and it is not trending toward stop (PV). The problem is that commercial energy storage doesn't exist. That is a separate discussion. I'm really just hoping to find some studies that justify not using EVs (objectively). The statement here surprised me and I'd love to see what is being assumed. The transportation sector is 1/3 of our power consumption with small gasoline combustion motors. Cut that out will clearly have an impact on air quality. So how bad is the EV technology currently and how is it so much worse?
@chriscockrell9495
@chriscockrell9495 5 жыл бұрын
@Betty Cocker Very possibly. That's why I'm looking for sources on this. 100% renewables is stupid until commerical energy storage is feasible.

Well said Mr. Knowles. Should’ve come to Tech instead 😉 lol. I’ve been formulating a question for the left in my mind recently. Would the left support a law banning wages over $xx.xx (place large number here), instead of greatly taxing wages above the same number? If not, then what exactly is the difference? I think I know the answer, but I’m truly curious to hear from a prominent liberal. Hope you enjoyed your time in ATL!

I have to say... as great as the speech and many of the questions were... i say it over and over again, but only a few conservatives get it and almost all of them agree only in theory and fail to follow through when it comes time....i say: The problem with the left is the widespread ignorant parroting of conceots that don't even attemp to ground themselves in any tangible reality or follow any non-circular logic. The ignorant hypocrisy that results is baffling in it obviousness. Yesderday... i saw Candace Owens reacted to a short of a conservative asking a random 20 something Hispanic man off the street his thoughts on biden vs trump. His response was: biden obviously. Why? Because f trump. What policy do you actually disagree with: the wall. Why: because I'm Hispanic. Why does that mean you're against the wall: because I dont want to have to go over the wall. Arent you already here: yes. Are you here illegally: no I'm here legally. Then why would you have to go over the wall: white people! I, like many others, pointed out all the ignorant stupidity displayed in that man's ideology. However, I also observed that any self-preserving democrat ... rather than defend this type of answer should be the 1st to say how ridiculous and illogical it is and make it clear, for his own party's sake, that it doesn't reflect the whole as a and then make your own intelligent arguement. None of which they will do because they are INCAPABLE of doing any part of that, including criticizing extreamist among their own, who make them all look even worse than usual. Most people agree with that. But when i say: and republicans should do the same for thier own party's sake too... mostly crickets...and of the few who agree - usually the most informed, the most able to make clear arguements, who really examine thier beliefs and argue them well - people like Michael... they agree in principle but then when it comes time to actually do it...all the hypocrisy we criticize in the left comes out and .... the silence is deafening... and very damaging whether oeople want to admit it or not. Most of the discussion in this episode was intelligent: both the speech and the q&a... BUTwhen that kid gets up and identifies himself as a 1. Conservative & 2. Chistian... who wants to discuss the evils of non-democratic socialism, and its consistent failings... which should be pointed out....and as a democracy loving, capitalism supporting Christian... he refers to trump as "our god-king"!!! Why did you not call him out on that idiocy?? The left won't fail to point it out. I really thought you had to much integrity to make excuses to yourself and choose hypocrisy cloaked as "niceness". How do you NOT admonish him for the built-in contraduction, the glaring hypocrisy, and most of all - the damage that such proud ignorance does to our cause?? Because people like that - on our side - get mocked in way more widespread publicity than when the leftist do it. And it DOES affect public perception of conservatives, a LOT. We don't have a king... that is a big part of what MADE us a democratic republic! A king is an unqualified person BORN to a position of power - who is often selfish and very bad at his job... who is not elected and usually can only be removed via bloodshed and devastating war; someone you are stuck with, and to whom YOU owe unconditional allegiance. RATHER than ... A leader ELECTED by the people, from among the people - not due to a privileged birth, to SERVE the people and THEIR best interest - to whom it is HIS job to be loyal too. How does he - in the same breath with which he shouts for democracy... acknowledge that you revere ANYONE as king? And as a so-called "christian" to go even further and blasphemously refer to ANYONE, as your god....much less someone as UNDENIABLY flawed as trump?? - though i acknowledge the validity of many of his policies and the success of their outcomes. A god inherently contains a concept of unblemished perfection, unknowable wisdom, the ONLY being worthy of blind trust with your very soul, the co-existence of beautifully mericful, self-sacrificing, LOVE; along side: truely, perfect justice and unimaginable power worthy of awe. How do you call yourself a Christian and in the sane breath profess actual worship of a PERSON and call ANY man except our Lord Jesus Christ ... god? The fundamental stupidity of such a statement... compounded to insane levels of irony by the context... how do you NOT... politely, but clearly, call him out, and explain why, and gently reprove him for attitudes that harm the cause he claims to want to help - via the same pride in one's own ignorance and the flaunted hypocrisy that the left displays?? I probably shouldn't be as disappointed as I am... but I am.

You state correctly, there is no such thing as post birth abortion. When you talk about the killing of babies after birth as "murder," you are actually referencing the parents and doctors not exercising heroic means to keep a dying baby alive. And I think you know it. You're adding it for shock value. Why? Are you afraid that your defense of pro-life isn't strong enough? I'm disappointed in you Michael.
