Great harvest forReiwa 6. Just curious on yield, how many acres gave 1365 kg of grain ? I presume its grain not milled rice. Should make a series of videos from ploughing to harvest next year.

And, as always, I liked the video. 🤭 And a question: is the rice you get through the rice club cheaper than buying rice? Or is it just all the other reasons for doing it that makes it attractive to you? 🤔

I have a kitchen gadget that removes the husk from brown rice. Sometimes we eat brown rice (healthier) but I do like my white rice. The rice bran (糠 nuka) goes to the chickens (probiotic, gut health, immunity boost) or it gets mixed into compost piles. You can also use nuka to make bokashi bran.

I will go look for your catio videos now. :-)

@@RealRuralJapan Was great to see another insight into living in Japan. The rice collective is a fantastic group. I also watch two other channels on life in Japan. Both have the wife doing all the talking/English subtitles. One husband has started his own channel on his solo trips in a small campervan, first time I've heard him say more that 5 words in a line, LOL. 😁😁 Break that bad habit if you want people to watch your channel more than a few times.
