Ex WT student here. Loved every minute of being a member. Learned so much from Ross and the chat. For me it has been and seems to always be. Rules: 1a) Have a trading plan and execute that plan 2a) Learn how to cut losses I still catch myself holding losers to long for no reason other than pride I guess. You'll never make it trading if you can't cut your losses.

Not a student here and a new trader (only two months no sim but only put $100 in) I got up to $600 so far and that would be well over 1k if I could learn to cut my losses quick and not hold hoping to break even..

Great video again, I watch them all - I started recently using a hotkey for selling 75% of position quick if stock not looking good or selling 75% of position if stock pops up to take most of the profit, then selling 100% after waiting to see which way the stock goes, this has made me cut losers quick and take profit quick, whilst still having a small position in the trade. Before this, I found myself hanging onto winners to long and the stock coming back down, also hanging onto losers to long and the stock going down further. Thanks for all the lessons 👍

3 days in a row green. Started my account this week at 200$ limiting my loss. Today was best day at 24$ of profit. I get the sell anxiety and left ALOT ON the table bailing too quick. Spent the last few months programming a bot and now it can keep track of the top ten real-time candlestick charts as well as the orderflow. It also has the ability to execute trades when my conditions are met--Only thing left I can think of is to give it access to time and sales so it can trade the normal market session a little better.

I have a question. What is the difference between buy the ask, bid, market and sell the ask bid and market. Which is better. And another question for a stop loss. Stop loss at said percentage on the bid or the ask? Which one is better or recommended. I like trailing stops, but sometimes 3 to 5 percent is too tight and I get stopped out too early and take a small loss, miss a potential 4% gain and stop out at 1% gain or 1% loss and miss the next leg up 30 seconds later.
