I grew up playing the PS2 version of it so when I bought the PS3 version to record gameplay for this video I was thrown off by the differences and I kinda wished I talked about that in the video too tbh

And incredibly the psp version is almost identical to the ps2 version but obviously doesn't look as good in terns of graphics but it is pretty amazing for a handheld game to have all the fun 3d explorable levels on the go

I played the ps2 version and it uses the Mario pipe transition sounds where the ps3 doesn’t. Also I could not solve the PS2 pipe puzzle in the game engine level, I’m sure you guys know which one. So I got stuck and never went back to finish it

Simpsons Game is relentlessly frustrating but good. Hit and run is certified a better game, or not even that. Maybe even the best simpsons game ever made. Road Rage is just a worse version than Hit and Run. Since I was 5, I played Hit and Run almost every day.

Let's be honest, the Simpson game is not a Simpsons game, it is simply a super parody of the world of video games with the only difference that it stars the Simpsons. Another point against is that its gameplay becomes very repetitive and boring. Although it has more content than Hit and Run, it is mediocre content, lazy and unfunny platform levels. In terms of Collectibles, Hit and Run is much better because the simple fact of seeing how your collection of vehicles was growing gave you a Hot Wheels-like satisfaction. In Simpsons game, if you forgot a single collectible you had to start the entire level, meaning another 20 or even 30 minutes wasted just for that unnecessary item. Exploring Hit and Run's Sprinfield feels alive and varied despite the PS2's major limitations. Sprinfield the game feels empty, like a ghost town and you can't really interact as much as in Hit and Run, if you go you could only press a button but doing so gave us an interesting animation and the atmosphere, for example the advertising that is in the city makes us feel like we are in Springfield. The game does not have that charisma of Hit and Run, I mean Hit and Run has so much style and essence of its own, (because as I said the game is just a parody). That at some moments you feel like you are playing GTA Vice City. And of course what for me makes Hit and Run beat the Game by a lot, the music, seriously the music of Hit and Run is so epic that you can listen to it while playing a need for speed and it still works (of course I mean to those who are rock). Conclusion, if we are critical, the game has no soul, I know I have already said it a lot but it is just a parody, it does not contribute anything of itself that makes it feel authentic and unique, Hit and Run has its own soundtrack, it bores it with its story It is more memorable than the game one and finally the vehicles themselves are so memorable that there are mods to be able to play with them in other titles. Not to mention the mods that are preventing Hit and Run from being forgotten.

Yeah I still love hit and run today a great 3d explorable Springfield with fun missions and a great variety of vehicles and lots of cool references from the show. I also highly recommend the Springfield in lego dimensions plus the awesome thing you can do in that game which you can't in hit and run is explore Springfield from the sky in the many vehicles available in the game and because it's a lego game you can smash up loads of things in the world for studs, also it's so cool to see the lego house plus the rest of Springfield made out lego bricks for you to freely explore 😆😉

It is kinda sad that The Simpsons game is not really popular and not many people played it in comperison to Hit and run. Dont get me wrong i love hit and run but The Simpsons game is atleast as good as Hit and run and not many people seem to know about this game i loved The Simpsons game when i was a child.

The truth is, the Simpsons game's gameplay is pure Lego style, but without the collectibles or fun mechanics of a Lego video game. I don't understand why so many people like the Simpsons game, it's supposed to be a platform game but I've played sagas like Jak and Daxter and I never felt that the Simpsons Game was good. Do I consider Hit and Run good? Yes, and it's not that I hate Simpson game, I passed both 100% but the truth is I didn't feel that magic or fun that Hit and Run offers, not to say that the game is much longer but for that itself becomes more tedious, even though the game focuses more on action, the truth is I never felt that freneticism, chaos and destruction that hit and run offers. And what I dislike most about Simpsons game is its Springfield is empty and does not feel alive, although the Hit and Run Springfield is divided into three parts and they are only circuits, the way they detailed the different parts of said levels feels credible. There are pedestrians and drivers, even if your character stays still, the others will continue doing their thing, we can interact with the city, the advertising that is all over Springfield makes you feel there. The one that really deserves a remake is Hit and Run. Just imagine the definitive Simpsons GTA, and it would make it even better to be able to use weapons like Jimmy Hopkins's. I haven't always wanted to play with Bart Simpson in a huge springfield full of life and details like Hit and Run, having the possibility of annoying everyone and being able to do many activities like we were able to do in Bullworth.

@@iggylikesgames GTA suffers from this too. GTA 4 was the only game that got smart and after you heard both versions of dialogue after failing a mission the character would just say “hey let’s just listen to the radio “ and no more repetitive dialogue
