thanks, i think like i am the only one who really gets kind of anxiety by all these newer haloween episodes (and a few older ones) i really have problems seeing homer who started as clumsy but loving father biting peoples head of and also the homeless "jokes" in this episode or when homer becomes death are a little traumatic to me. i have no problems with brutal humour like in south park or something but i think by the simpsons its more cruel cuz i grew up with them and knew them completely diffferent..... and i really wont imagine that most people seem to really LAUGH about episodes like that. brrrr . really sorry for bad english i am very tired

There was actually something from the Simpsons that scared me when I was younger but it wasn't from the show weirdly enough. *Warning: Long story ahead!* See, there was a Tree House of Horror comic book because there were comics of the Simpsons that I would read and one part of the issue was about a supposedly cursed comic that Bart reads and his friend Milhouse warns him about. The comic actually then transitions to the comic Bart is reading so we see through perspective in this and it's here where the art style changes from the normal yellow Simpsons art style to a something more realistic with everything looking almost as it would in real life but clearly stylized into a comic art style. It starts off with a kid Bart's age killing a turtle and his friend being disgusted by it. The kid brushes it off as being "just a stupid turtle!" then leaves his friend before going home, there the lights are out but his mother is talking to him. The boy is a little creeped by this and starts to notice whoever he was talking to wasn't really his mother, the lights turn on and it's like his mother and his dad are almost completely disfigured with pineapple like patterns over their skin. It then cuts back to Bart screaming in terror as he keeps reading the comic and then it's revealed that the final page of the comic was cut out. Bart then goes to a comic book store and asks where page was and the fat geek guy says the author tore the page out of every issue because it was too disturbing for the world apparently. Bart then tracks down the author and he agrees to let Bart see the missing page, he then lures him into his basement and we briefly see the author turn into some flesh hideous monster before showing that the final page of the issue is cut out.
