I love Burns's cliche serious coach knee stance. Considering all crap that team went to to win and his attitude, it is the perfect image of him in this photo.

You know this episode came out 3 years before Darryl started having major problems with his life, such as with the drugs, cancer and misdemeanors. And in the episode you could see darryl crying several times, its kind of sad that no one reached out to him since he obviously had and still is fighting against clinical depression. No one saw noticed the signs and its sad when i think about it that it could have gone better for him

From Wikipedia: "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" is a 1908 Tin Pan Alley song by Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer which has become the unofficial anthem of baseball, although neither of its authors had attended a game prior to writing the song. The song (chorus only) is traditionally sung during the seventh-inning stretch of a baseball game

According to this episode's Wikipedia entry (so take it for what you will), this song is a parody of 'Talkin' Baseball' and the person who wrote that song (Terry Cashman) performed this one and stated that: "Cashman having "Talkin' Softball" requested more often than "Talkin' Baseball"."

Everyone says they miss the old simpsons and so do I, but at least we can be happy that they gave us 10 (8 in some people's opinion) years of gold that will be remembered forever while the crap that poses as the Simpsons nowadays will be forgotten the week after it airs.
