I used played the sims 3 pets on the PS3 when I was a kid. I had my sim level up on the craftsmanship skill. I clicked on a book shelf. It had an option, Dedonate. I Read it as De-Donate, thinking it involve donating or something. I BLEW UP A BOOKSHELF INSIDE MY HOUSE AND MY DOGS RAN AWAY

Every time I see vids from the Sims 2 or 3 I'm struck by how little depth of content there is in the Sims 4. I mean, I played these freaking games, I'm a veteran from Sims 1, but I somehow repeatedly gaslight myself into thinking the Sims 4 has an okay-ish level of content. Then I watch stuff and I'm reminded of just how little there is, even if you have all the expansions, packs and whatever the hell else they pull out their arse and slap a price tag on. I can't even afford most of those, I live for mods. It's a mess, and as a community of gamers we've repeatedly been treated worse than shit by EA.

The last time I played Sims 3, I made a whole family where I planned to only actively play the tinkerer kid. I made the mistake of trying to blow up a junk pile in my boi's basement, which somehow SET EVERYTHING ON FIRE and destroyed ALL destructible objects in the ENTIRE LOT. It also killed everyone who was older than young adult, so the parents and grandpa. It was a big house. Jimmy Neutron but the show actually follows the laws of physics
