Horse Runner 1 is the superior game in the Horse Runner franchise. Though Horse Runner 2 has better graphics, the plot and character development in Horse Runner 1 can never be outmatched.

The love triangle in Horse Runner was unbelievable. I never saw that twist coming. Horse Runner 2 had a basic plot. Its only because SO many games based themselves off of Horse Runner 1 now. There is nothing cheap about HR1, but Horse Runner 2 is cheap and cliché.
