I love this band and I love this album - this song especially - but I find this embarassing. Sorry. The band are amazing and that guitarist is 👌🏻- but Andrew just don’t got it anymore.

He should use one now and it would not be a big deal, it would just improve the experience!

This is what happens when EGO destroys the creative-self. BORING. It's sad.

You're crazy if you think Eldritch's creativity hasn't always been innately linked to his massive ego.
@richardusmaximus Жыл бұрын
But ultimately his ego has made him and his work irrelevant. One perfect album with the original Sisters of Mercy line up and a couple of mediocre eldritch follow ups…and then he decries his “goth” image, sound, and obvious proclivities. It’s a drag. I feel like he could have been a solid 80s icon. 🤷🏻♂️

@@richardusmaximus maybe you should stick with The Mission and Ghost Dance instead

Don’t take it personally. I saw the sisters of mercy in the 80s live with original line up and The Mission recently, and nothing compares to the original SOM. Just my opinion. I just find eldritch squandered his legacy. I mean look at this video; it’s just meh 🤷🏻♂️

If Andrew could sing even halfway as good as he used to back in the glory days I would pay $1000 to see him.

I sincerely love them seriously nothing like listening to this record or a hard day when you’re feeling like the world is coming in on you and it pulls you back up from the brink I believe that some musicians and some bands like sisters of Mercy and even the mission Have an ability to create this emotional atmosphere within the mind. Some can say it’s for the better other say it’s for the worst I believe it’s for the better. I woke up this morning very depressed and really feeling bad remembering the days when I used to be younger and that special feeling of that kind darkness of a dark night club strobe lights and shadows hearing that song blasting through the speakers watching beautiful goth girls dancing it made me sad because unfortunately those days are long gone but I have a new feeling these days as sisters of Mercy has come into my life again when I needed it to feel the power of that rhythm and those lyrics they have a new meeting for me now for travel and to see the world it’s strange how things go sometimes in your life and sometimes it’s the little things from the past that can pull you up. I had a nervous break down this morning, but I’m OK. Hanging in there getting ready to take a big adventure across the pond and I guess I got a little edgy this morning I’m gonna go see sisters of Mercy hopefully in Europe that would be absolutely amazing. Anyway cheers to the greatest band.
