I was there. Fantastic day with not only the Sisters, but also Pearl Jam, Bad Religion, Jingo de Lunch etc.

I got a 1st Gen copy of this show from the Sony WM-D3 master tape. It's to this day one of my favorite Sisters live gigs. I loved this period when they we using a synth bass.

I was 15, no money for a ticket, but then there was this hole in the fence and suddenly we were in. Saw The Cure in the same year in Bremen, couldn't get any better. Thx to the uploader for bringing back these memories!

It was a DAMN HOT DAY at this festival on the parking lot of Klöckner industries!!! There played quite some great bands. But I love this audio like no other! They also played a show at the Loreley (day before or after) of which there exists a nice bootleg ("Dark Paradise") which I managed to get hold of at Blue Note in Hannover in those days. I still wonder why so many jerks did weightlifting there girls all through this epic show in the heat?!?? Could only see as few as the camera man... Therefore I was more centre in front of the stage. Which was hard to stand, too.. ;-)

Pearl Jam played early in the day. Nobody followed after Sisters of Mercy. They closed out the night.
