Not amongst the most powerful sith when compared to sidious, nihilus, vitiate n vader etc. But the most successful. Immortality has always been a key goal and one of the greatest accomplishments for any sith. And he achieved it and perfected it without having a weakened physical form (like sidious).

@@svenstefansson4022 as a sith no one had killed as many jedi, and vader was skilled in lightsaber combat and strong in the force. He conquered entire planets by himself lol (referencing comic material). Even after having his midichlorian count reduced from his injuries at mustafar he was still a beast. He had potential to be stronger than sidious which is why sidious made him a suit to hamper his growth and didn't really teach him the ways of the darkside (sith magic etc) like plagueis did because sidious was scared that vader would overthrow him. Vader is definitely up there with the most powerful sith. Probably sits somewhere in top 10.

A dark lord who gained the power to cheat death after being betrayed hides on a fortress world in the deep core almost impossible to reach controlling it with his sith worshipping cult but not teaching his knowledge to anyone else so was the only sith.

I don't know if Andeddu was the first one to create Essence Transfer but in SWTOR in the inquisitor storyline, Darth Zash uses Tulak Hord's holocrons and knowledge to attempt Essence Transfer on the player (Aloysius Kallig's heir). Maybe that's just legends material, but i think i recall Khem Val saying Tulak Hord used Essence Transfer at least once...

Andeddu is decently powerful, and knowledgable certainly, but his fear and paranoia show that he wasn't top of the food chain. My view of the strongest? Well... if you treat it like a championship title, the lineal title would go like this: First there was Darth Adas. He is the first Sith ruler that we know of. We don't have a lot of specific feats, but we can infer some things. The original Sithari, he was strong enough to unite his people and become the undisputed ruler. Then the Rakkatan Empire invaded and he drove them back. The Sith were described as a primitive species at this time. Yet he was powerful enough in the force to push back a galaxy spanning, darkside fueled empire, steal thier technology, and use it to conquer planets before he was seemingly betrayed and killed. It is safe to say that he was the most powerful Sith Lord up until this point in history. After him we only know about two ancient Sith rulers before the Jedi Exiles arrived, and niether could come close to him. After the Exiles arrived the next Sith that could have taken Ardas's title was Marka Ragnos. Like Adas, we don't have a lot direct feats, but we can infer some things. He ruled the Sith for over 100 years before he died, and we don't know at what age he took over. To our knowlege, he is the only Sith ruler to die of old age. This is is saying a lot, when you realize that you had a pack of powerful, ambitious, sith such as Naga Sadow, Ludo Kresh, and even Tenebre around. They all waited until after his death before they made thier power plays. Is he more powerful than Adas? I would give him the benifit of the doubt here. My reasoning is that he would have benefited from centuries of advancement of Sith knowlede, as well as well as the infusion of jedi techniques. Plus he was no one worked up the nerve to challenge him even while on deaths door. His reign was considered the Golden Age of the Sith and he was it's undisputed ruler. After Ragnos, the next person to claim the title is Vitiate. As Tenebre I would argue that Ragnos was stronger, but after the ritual and becoming Vitiate he wins. Infact, I think that he is undisputedly the strongest Sith up until Sidious, and Sidious only wins because Lucas said so.

If you don’t believe me read the books, such as Book Of Sith, the Darth Bane Series, and other Novels. 2. The prequels will always be better than the sequels, the sequels are very controversial among the StarWars community since a lot of us Dislike it. Whether or not you wanna count the new sidious from the sequels, either way, his power is nothing compared to a Sith Lord like Darth Nihilus who consumed entire Planets like it was nothing, or Darth Vitiate who not only gained immortality, but also consumed an entire world. This is something Sidious is to weak and much less knowledgeable to do. In short, Darth Sidious, although I like him a little, he’s extremely over exaggerated by some. If you were to actually read the novels about ancient Sith/Jedi, you would realize that the prequel Sith & Jedi are like Children playing with the force compared to the old Masters. Even full-potential Anakin would have an extremely if not impossible time against many ancient Sith.

Sidious although he doesn’t have complete knowledge of the dark side is capable of battle meditation on a planetary scale while simultaneously doing force cloak and drain without any rituals. Do you understand how ridiculously powerful he is ? If he allied with talzin he would have been a god. Nobody would be able to stop him. I just came to say can we appreciate how Stupendous Wave used a picture of Prince Albrecht from Diablo 2 to serve as artwork for Darth Andeddu... twice. Like, I'm just saying that I don't care if you credit Blizzard for their artwork, but it is a bit disingenuous to use the same images twice over and one of them being the wrong franchise. Oh, and for anyone wondering when Wave did this the first time? About eight months ago was the first time, then just today with a flipped version of the original. The way you can tell he is using Diablo 2 Artwork is twofold. First of all, check out Diablo 2 Resurrected and the promotional image for it. Same red robes, crack in the forehead from the Soulstone, skull shape, everything. Prince Albrecht was the son of the King in the first game and shoved the Soulstone into his forehead, giving Diablo a human form and giving us what we saw. This also lines up fairly well with the timeline of D2R's release, having been officially announced for 10 months and officially out for around 3-4 months at the time of the first video's release. Second of all is the lack of key aspects that are within the actual picture of Darth Andeddu that was used. Lack of robes, what fabric he does have is black, his head piece is different, and he is less skull and more grotesque zombie in most depictions, closer to an even worse looking Sidious. However, the man was still ripped as fuck and only his face was terrible from all the reference images I can find. Either way, this is a detail I figure you might want to change when or if you inevitably do a third video on this character so that way you don't catch the eye of pedantic nerds like myself who happen to notice and recognize artwork that is from an entirely different genre and franchise.

It's possible that Enddeu could be biding his time until the numbers of the Sith die down, by this I mean the rule of two or perhaps even Krytos rule of one. Enddeu can then resurrect with no one to chase him. On the other hand I believe that his fear made him weak which is why he chose to learn in isolation.

The end of a video mentions darth krayt having andeddu's tomb raided for his holocron. When this happened, the person doing this was able to seal the spirit of andeddu away. He is a formless force being trapped. Somehow.. but the reality is that he has the knowledge of resurrection so he can easily come back around at some point meaning "he is still out there" but whatever the guy did for Darth krayt to get the holocron seemingly has blocked him from using this knowledge. If that block was removed or countered somehow though, andeddu would be free to resurrect again. So that's my explanation of how he is sealed away but "still out there."

I've often wondered if they'd be trapped if they essence transfered into a non-Force sensitive. In Empire's End, Palpatine was insistent on transferring into Anakin Solo after his clones were sabotaged by his personal physician and a rogue Royal Guard so it seems likely.

No. When an apprentice kills a master, the masters essence transfers to the apprentice. Under this system, when sidious killed plagueis plagueis' essence would have transferred to sidious. The apprentice, receives no transfer unless they kill the master. Basically long story short, when palpatine said "I am all the sith" it was quite literal.

I can imagine since the force has a will, people like the sith who choose to twist and control it would not bode well with the force as a whole, especially killing beings who produce the living force. So i believe the force would torment those that have hurt it when their conciousness becomes deattached from the living world, making it important to people like the sith to drain life or transfer conciousness to stave off being judged by the force. i think he was smart to rule one planet as a god king vs trying to carve his place among the other sith, while its not in line with sith philosophy to gain as much power as possible it ultimately leads to their downfall Darth Niallis is a perfect example a slave to his hunger. his people worshiped him and he had no challengers,. unfortunately with Disney in charge the Sith god king is most defiantly lost to time.
