Hi. I know I have t been showing up much since I wasn’t really watching the Acolyte. I told someone in your chat that Star Wars before the prequels hadn’t interested me. That I realized was half the story. The fighting between the fans is so ugly it reminded me of the whole Ben 10 mess from over 10 years ago. The last version called Omniverse turned fans so rabid it caused me to disconnect from the fandom in general. What is sicking is one girl I knew went through a family abuse trauma at the time and then had to be abused for liking Omniverse by someone who I thought would be a friend. The artist of Omniverse was Derrick J Wyatt and when he suddenly died in 2021 all I could think of was how many haters likely cheered. It as wicked as those who were happy over Dwayne Mac Duffie dying for ruining Ben 10 by show running the follow up series Ben 10 Alien Force. It’s just been too upsetting to see this happen wishing Star Wars to this same level of total contempt. Thanks for being a reasonable channel. I hope to eventually watch Acolyte sometime in the future. I am currently watching Star Trek Picard and if I started discussing all the retcon Star Trek fans put up with this posting would be even longer. I must admit, season 3 is golden, making up for how terrible season 1 and 2 were imo. I didn’t even watch season 2. It’s proof that even when something goes wrong, a fandom can find a way to bring its base back together.

I think Qimir was a jedi pupil with the jedi's on that planet when he was a child and sae the whole thing, and the jedi thought they killed him as a whitness.

@@aguywholovesstarwarsQimir will be plagueis. Think about how we were introduced to Qimir in episode 2 after seeing him as the sith in episode 1. He was inebriated and sleeping. Coincidentally, this is how we are introduced to EU plagueis in the James luceno plagueis book. He was able to heal osha, a feat no force user can easily achieve. Anakin was only able to do it in the presence of the mortis gods, ben/rey were only able to do it because they were a force dyad. Qimir speaks in riddles when he’s in his sith form and is also able to hide his true nature in the presence of the Jedi in his non-sith form, just like palpatine. About the Kyle ren theme: the theme isn’t exactly ren’s theme, it’s Ben’s theme when he was healing ray! This was a light side act by ben solo! The theme is slightly modified here to indicate that Qimir was able to heal osha using the dark side of the force. They used it here to show us this isn’t a random Jedi or a knight of ren.

It was a 8.5 for me. Maybe Qimir was an apprentice to the Sith Lord whom was a witch. So the Sith Lord was also a witch with Qimir as Her apprentice.

Qimir will have a master. Actor David harewood has been cast in an undisclosed minor role. And someone with his acting chops wouldn’t play a guest role. He will probably appear as qimir’s master (probably in episode 7 which is the second brendok episode).

I've noticed that Darth Tenebrous' species is never mentioned in Canon. In fact there's next to nothing in canon about him apart from that he trained Plagueis and maybe designed a ship. Any chance they're going to heavily retcon, and Qimir will turn out to be Tenebrous? (I kind of hope not, I'd prefer for him to be an apprentice akin to Venamis)

REMINDER: the only CANON information about plagueis is that he could use the dark side of the force to create life, and he was palpatine’s master. As much as I love the plagueis novel, I don’t think a lot of things from that book are going to make it into canon, least of all his species.

Can you give me (Aiden) a shoutout if this turns out to be true: I believe that Qimir will influence the Knights of Ren in the future (Sequel Trilogy). I think that Qimir is actually Darth Venamis (from legends) because Venamis was known for his levitation skills. I also think that Qimir is crying to take down his master (Darth Tenebrous). I also think that Qimir will die by the end of this show. Also, did you notice that some of the dark side was slipping into Sol when he was fighting Qimir. I believe at the end of this show that Master Sol might become the apprentice to Darth Tenebrous. What do y’all think?

How can the jedi willingly sweep more than 10 dead jedi, students included under the rug? A person has revealed himself as Sith along the same time of these deaths, not one person in the order will ask questions?

Maybe we will know in the next three episodes? One hypothetical way it can be done is if none of the Jedi who went to khofar make it out alive. I think we’re nearly there on that front. I don’t know if you were noticing it, but Qimir was doing anything and everything he can to unbalance sol-make him angry, sad, and frustrated, to the point that sol was able to channel his rage and subdue Qimir. Ever since sol and qimir meet, the implication is that Qimir knows sol, or what sol feels on the inside. Case in point! when sol asks Qimir why he hides his face from his student, qimir replies “I don’t know, you tell me”. This suggests that he knows what sol did, on brendok. And it’s big, something that’s weighed on him all this time. Therefore, the implication is that a similar darkness exists in sol, but he hides (masks) it. With all of this in mind, I think by the end of the first season, Qimir would have corrupted osha by revealing sol’s treachery. The ultimate test for osha would likely be to let go off her sister. Sol’s fall to the dark side is a way inevitable, he is the cause for a lot of this destruction. In short, the Jedi will find a good scapegoat in sol. Once the brendok incident comes to light, it would be perceived as a catalyzing incident for darkness. He’d be held responsible for the Jedi murders as a wayward Jedi who turned to the dark side. Therefore, they will be no Jedi coverup and your precious ki-adi-mundi wouldn’t technically be lying! Because the Jedi wouldn’t know the sith’s involvement.

@@jithwheels I like your idea, it does sound reasonable. Unfortunately this show has no such thing as reasoning, especially for its characters. Mae is proof of that past 2 episodes In the span of about 4 hours(show time) she goes from: Land planetside to kill the wookie, announce her intent to leave and turn herself in, fight the padawan trying to arrest her, stun sol who tried to save her, steal twins identity to now join sol. Your idea is interesting but I can't think the writer(s) are near clever enough to do what you thought up in possibly a few minutes.

⁠​⁠@@LurkerBelowMae realized killing kelnacca is beyond her capabilities, especially without a Weapon. She is also right, osha being alive does change things for Mae, considering the fact that osha is alive. Going ahead with the kelnacca kill would further entrench her with the sith. She does decide to turn herself in, but Qimir just unleashed a massacre. She knows if she stuck around, she’d be crucified for these murders. She fights jecki because she didn’t want to get handcuffed a 100 ft away from Qimir? Moreover, jecki blames the death of her coven on Mae, clearly flustering her. She tries to get through to osha, but realizes she’s a lost cause. She goes along with sol to either kill him in a vulnerable moment, or expose his past misdeeds. We have three more episodes, I don’t think none of her acts are incoherent, yet. I’d wager we will know more about her motives in the next episode.

It's a very badly written show all around. This episode has bad choreography, silly character decisions, lore contradictions, and its use of the decanonized(by disney) EU. Had to go and look for the reason someone headbutts a lightsaber. Had it been introduced earlier or at all, may not have been as irritating.

It means the ppl who wrote this were high on Crack. I'm curious what there gonna tell Yoda when over half a dozen jedi go missing. U think Yoda felt all those jedi dying. I mean it makes sense. I feel bad for everyone who has convinced themselves this show is good.

By this point in the high republic, more than dozen Jedi have died in singular incidents multiple times. It isn’t a particularly new thing for the order. The nihil wars, and the drengir have caused multiple deaths multiple times

The Sith have been extinct for a millenium! You want people to back up why this show is terrible, there you go. The dialogue sucks, the storyline line makes no sense, and the show has no direction or any real mystery. Manny Jisento was great. You have to give props where props are due, but that doesn’t make up for the first half of the season’s blunder. One good episode doesn’t make a series great. And all the so called “haters” weren’t silenced from this episode, they have just moved on.

Master Yoda knew the Sith was still around. It was heavily implied that he could feel them around but they were in deep hiding.

@@wesb123Yoda feeling the sith’s presence is unlikely, considering none of the Jedi could tell palpatine was a sith in all of the prequel era. I think we will get to know how Yoda knows about the rule of two in the show. Although, Yoda is like 900 years old. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just explained as him coming across a few sith holocrons. We still don’t know anything about bane in canon. Maybe the puzzle of how Yoda knew about the sith would be addressed in another show about bane.

@@jithwheels in the older movies Yoda can feel the dark side and in the prequels says “revealed themselves they have” so he knew they existed he just never had any proof other than something being off within the Force long before Palp was revealed. It was implied and Yoda knows more than he speaks and he personally had ZERO fear of fighting them man to man. I believe it was implied in the conversation with Yoda in the prequels that Mace shared the same feelings as Yoda that something in the Force was weird.

@@wesb123 no I think he meant he could sense the tip of the scale towards the dark side. I’m not saying he couldn’t sense or identify the siths’ actions after they revealed themselves in episode 1. I’m only saying he never was capable of IDing a sith who didn’t want to be found. There are no canon indications of Yoda sensing sith before the prequels.
