He had lots of time to think about his actions before he made them in regards to sabotaging Gianni and Snooki's relationship, throughout the entire season it was on his mind to do it, and during that duration he could of thought "well maybe this isn't a good idea" if he wants to do it that's up to him, but given the length of pondering the thought you can't expect an apology immediately after doing it. You can't always be forgiven after the fact, especially when you should of known better in the first place.
