Ok, so we can get liberation from any realm... What are actually the methods for liberation?

You're asking a very good question. It's essentially the question that the first three noble truths ask, and that the fourth noble truth answers. If there's suffering, and if there's a cause of suffering, and if there's and end to suffering, then what's the end of suffering? The Buddha's answer was the noble eightfold path: right view, right intention, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. Put more simply, if we want to end suffering it matters how we meditate, how we conduct our daily lives, and how we view the world. Does that help?

@@ZenCommunityofOregon yes, it helps somehow... not entirely though... I try to be a very lovable person and not to harm any person. This is since I know myself. I let others win if that makes them happy, but I loose all the time in this manner. Well, I feel like I was punnished severely by the life itself... I was abandoned and had many loses and pain and grieff. It comes a time when I ask myself: how many other pains do I need to suffer. Is this the only way of life? Do I need to sacrifice this life entirely or there will come eventually some light at the end of the tunnel?
@ZenCommunityofOregon3 жыл бұрын
@@camelia6438 "Is this the only way of life?" The short answer is "no." The eightfold path, and buddhism in general, lay out a different way. It's a lifelong undertaking that benefits greatly from the support of a community and teachers. I would encourage you to find a buddhist community somewhere near you, or online, to which you can bring this question. Without knowing you and your unique life circumstances it's difficult to offer more specific advice. We have online offerings throughout the week that allow people to connect with our teachers and our community, and to find support for this very important work. You can find the links to those meetings on our website: www.zendust.org/calendar/ If the timing of those meetings doesn't work for you, there are many more communities all around the world that have similar offerings. Find a community. Find a teacher. Keep asking the question "What is the cause of my suffering?"

Silently listening to your dharma on the six realms was liberating. The habit of thinking of what ‘intelligent’ response I could ask,or give, doesn’t allow me to listen and learn. Thank you for your teaching.
@tracymacgregor873 жыл бұрын
Thank you! There is so much wisdom in your teachings of the constant transition from one state to another! It makes so much more sense to me now that we try to maintain the stillness inside as we observe (without judgement) the transitory nature of Samsara occuring all around us rather than get caught up in it's dizzying cycles. Perhaps instead we use the authentic movement inside each of us to become more "human".

Buddhism must be learnt by every human being on earth. If anyone wants to know how our Father Almighty created this universe, Buddhism says it in detail smartly. BUDDHISM GIVES US WONDERFUL INFORMATION. JUST TRY FAITHFULLY, YOU MAY SAY WOW

Some people's minds are now in a hell state. Rich and poor. To understand through Buddhism and meditation. Is a very slow upward climb with temptations to bring one back down to start again. Until endless cycles will bring an understanding and inner knowledge so beautiful. Awakening may be possible.

I am fascinated with how you explain the 3 animals in the centre. I am sharing your preaching to some of my Christian friends. My past common-law partner has 6th sense and dream so often of the other world and talked to the dead during his sleep or something etc. He even saw his soul separation from himself. He saw ghost spirits since his teenage young years in the countrside. Every now and then he saw spirits in highway with high car accidents rate. Ghost spirit looks Foggy and no feet. He will be in frozen state upon seeing it etc.

3 catagory of 6 realms 1st one is 6 physical place. 2nd one is 6 experience. 3rd one is 6 evolution. When every star dies universe will become dark cold after long uncountable Eons of times new universe take birth with hot then many Eons universe will cool down and star system form and microorganisms ( hungry Ghost ) will emerge and evolve to animals and then human evolve and then human become civilize and greedy war mongers and then humanity become High civilization ( Deva ) then long long Eons laters stars dies again and universe become cold and dark then cycle start again this is Samsaric evolution of 6 realms. The Four Maha kalpas. My grammar is bad, pls correct my sentance in reply. Namo Buddha 🙏

liberation is realizing there is no escape and embracing life, and doing what you can to make heaven on earth for all. If all consciousness is one consciousness then there is no separation or escape from the cycle of rebirth give up escapism and embrace life and love each other making the world a little better by being a good person in hopes of creating a world where everyone is good to each other it is in your best interest, especially if your coming back.
@LucysSonarDreams Жыл бұрын
and you call liberation I call self-actualization this gets rid of the illusion of escape from the cyclical nature of life, or the idea that one can truly escape desire or belief when the mind is made of concepts or beliefs and that beliefs are ultimatly desires for the universe to conform to our philosophy, I wished to disolve belief or ego to be truly objective and found the impossiblity of it, yet the self improvement from this practice of disolveing has allowed for the most personal growth, so I keep at it knowing it's probably not possible, because I am a little bit better of a person for every once I put in, always improving knowing that perfection of an egoless/beliefless self is truly impossble, I learned to love the process of growth which is important because most people ressit so heavly, loved your video.

departure from samsara , Must learn the 4 Noble Truths and Khan 5 and follow the path of the Noble Eightfold Path. There are 9 levels of concentration. Any level of concentration can be used to enter Nirvana. Consciousness is what leads to Nirvana. and the word Zen that Japan practiced rigorously is the 4th level of concentration, that is, the 4th contemplation

@invokingvajras3 жыл бұрын
In a way, yes. The human realm is recognizeable by traits and experiences particular to it. The same goes for all other realms, in which we may experience blips of those qualities found in the realms that we don't occupy in that particular moment.

I think i posted on your page before, but i have a really spiritual life. In 2018, my dad gsve me a Native American soirit medicine bag, and my dad said "this is how i found God." I had no idea bhavacakra was a thing prior to 2018 (I will be honest the US is mostly christian). Anyways, i did some bad spiritual stuff with the spirit medicine, and i did an immoral act by using a substance. I think i died or something and i saw this bhavacakra in the spirit world (it was identical looking to what is on your left [on the right in the video]). The wheel spun and landed on something and idk what it was. Does that mean ill die?

And it is strange also because I was in college 1.5 years earlier, and my professor said there was an employee who sat in the same place as me that found God (and I was an employee when my dad gave that to me).

Much respect and love! I enjoyed your talk. Jews do not believe in an eternal hell the way Christians do. It was a Greek idea that became part of Christianity in the 2nd century. We also believe in reincarnation, with a similar idea.

There are also references in the Bible to reincarnation / rebirth - though they are veiled due to the fact that the Bible is a holy book that’s not so much literal, but metaphorical

P.S.- I once had a hallucinatory dream while going through withdrawal from Xanax and in the dream I had died and a red eyed Demon came for my soul and brought all of my sins, Lust, Sloth, Pride, Gluttony, etc..., up from a cellar to lay claim of me And while I stood there they all fought each other for the right to torture me; I tried to run but the Demon's red eyes followed me everywhere and his voice was a low bass vibration that I felt going through me; and as he was just about to grab me I woke up in my room that was pitch black and I thought I was dead. I ran into my friend's room hysterical and woke him up to make sure he could see me and that I wasn't dead; it was the most terrifying experience I have ever been in and I have been through a lot of horrible things.

Hey just type & search buddhist hell video... & there r animations of those hell workers which r made based on the buddhas preachings of hell... See if it aligns with ur vision... Having lived a life filled with so many mistakes, having wasted so much time, causing so many regrets,, Buddhism says that when my life in this form is at an end I will be sent down to the lower levels to burn away the bad karma. If this is true, I really hope that I will be able to let go of the things that make me who I am.
