Fundamentals of Light E02 - The Size of a Light Source is Relative to Distance.
In today’s episode we are going to learn about how the size of a light source is relative to the distace that source is to the subject that it is lighting.
This will alter the quality of the the light and the fall off of the light.
Needless to say, this can make a major impact on your cinematography and this is something I wish I knew way earlier in my carrer.

I’m actually trying to figure out lighting right now and if i need to get a bigger light this gave me some clarity…i have an suggestive video or idea i have two cameras and I’m trying to light both angles up but one camera is a little farther than the other, i have a small room and just want to light myself up however one light shows good lighting on one camera but the other is not and im using one light. I do have another light but i want to create more of a cozy warm ambient vibe with color so i feel like more lights will drown out RGB lights for background color …anywho my question is how do you light up two shots sorry if this is not clear I’m a newbie
