Wasn't this song originally from a recording that Dax did that was a project called "Daisyhead and the Mooncrickets"?? The recording is very very raw (but to me is absolutely amazing! then again Dax has yet to release anything that I didnt feel wasnt!) and had several tracks on it like umm..... "As Gone As Gone Can Be" "Downtown" "Wander The Day Away", and several other kind of rare amazing tracks....

Yes, he wrote this song originally during that time. This is another version, technically from the same project, recorded before the actual Agents Of Oblivion line-up was formed. Those Daisyhead recordings can also be found on this channel, I've cleaned them up a little too. I also used different titles, because a few of those recordings are mistitled. "As Gone As Gone Can Be" is actually "Goner" and "Wander The Day Away (Come The Morning)" is just "Come The Morning".

Oh hey, I have yet to looks thoroughly, but I didn't see it on here (I may have overlooked), but I have a pretty rare recording of Dax covering "Wedding Day In Funeralville" which I think was originally John Prine. It's kind of a raw recording, but to me, that's what makes some of them so awesome! If you don't already have that one, I'm confident that I could find it in my total mess of data, Let me know if you would like a copy for personal, or to post it, it's pretty epic! One of my favorite of his covers actually! Thanks again for the amazing array of Dax related material, he is my very favorite singer / songwriter of all time. And that's saying a whole hell of a lot, music is my life!! I think that true Dax fans have this really awesome unspoken bond, and there's just a magical feeling in the air at his shows!
