Why oh why oh why will the BBC or ITV not run a similar show inviting the public to send in sketches. With all that talent out there it would be of good quality. Your comments please

It's interesting to see how careers develop from shows like this. It's incredibly hard to become a successful comic, and almost impossible to persuade TV bosses to give you a chance in the first place. It makes sense for a group of performers to pool their talents and try to make a go of it. Sometimes it works; usually it doesn't. Series One was obviously a success - because we got this second series - but it's sad that Ronni Ancona decided to jump ship and try to go it alone. I don't know why she left. Maybe she felt underused, overshadowed and wanted more of the limelight. Being in a group like this must be a bit like playing in a band - there comes a point where one member wants to move on. Sometimes it's an ego thing. Personality clashes and artistic differences... Did Ronni ever have her own solo TV series? I'm sure she made guest appearances on established stars' sketch shows. (Jon Culshaw? Dead Ringers?) It must have been a bitter pill to swallow after co-starring on this one. Perhaps she'd hoped to follow in Tracey Ullman's footsteps. The male members of the cast all went on to varying degrees of solo success, but only Lee Mack became a TV regular. It's been said before: forging a career in comedy is no laughing matter.

kitty flanagan is actually doing quite well as a comedian over here in australia! in my experience shes a very popular n well known comedian, for her stand up and also tv appearances. and also she’s currently starring as the lead in a show called ‘fisk’ which won a logie(australian tv award) recently! (its a very good show in my opinion btw, highly recommend it) idk how well known she is outside of australia but yea 👍 in australia she’s very much a tv regular haha
