Thank God for this video series. I stopped skiing 8 years ago because my boots killed my high arch feet... I recently moved to Andorra and thanks to your video I searched for a ski boot workshop... I'm visiting one tomorrow (also my birthday) so I will be able to do again what I loved the mos ❤ You can't imagine how thankful I am... THANKS!! 🙏🏻

I have never had a boot fitting this in depth. I would fly to sweden just for this process!

Thanks. Very helpful. I am deciding between Rossignol pure pro 100 with 100 last or elite 120 with 98 last. I want a performance oriented boot but the elite 120 hurts the top of my foot on one side due to a high instep. Can this be fixed or am i better off with the softer boot with the 100 last?

What about pressure points on the top of the foot due to a high instep?

Usually it's a cuneiform that you can find a specific high spot. Personally I grind a minor digil

I heard someone said your feet choose the boot, is that correct ? if the boot size is right. is it possible to fit any boot to any feet ?
@fernandog.aguirre27915 жыл бұрын
Absolutely wrong! Each ski boot manufacture has design/foot tendency......Lange it fits completely different than Salomon, or Dalbello ....it might be an expensive and tedious process to find the ideal boot and the right boot fitter!!! But it worth it!!!!!

I wish he'd explain why you'd grind before punchinching/stretching. I was taught to stretch or punch before grinding.
@ericroden66779 ай бұрын
Less deformation of the shell and an easier punch if need be. When I was an early boot fitter I did a lit of punching, now I've come to recommend grinding first. You might be surprised how much a grind can make. My .02cents

Hi, can a guy with Size UK 8.5 fit into mondo point 26.5 ski boots?
@Daz5Daz11 ай бұрын
Print out a mondo point template and measure your own foot and forget your UK shoe size.

Which method would you recommend for shin pain , where the boot is causing contact bruises on the shins from skinning?
@dustingreenhill9711 Жыл бұрын
Hi, look up "Boot Bang". Main reason for this is too large a boot.
@ngrader Жыл бұрын
Also pay attention to your stance/balance. Being backseat (boot pressuring the calves) all the time will cause worse shin-bang than constantly being forward pressing into your boot.

@ 330 may have wanted to be more "ready" @550 you dropped the forefoot not the heel @750 bullshit, boot is too big @1000 that works
