GT500 series GT-Rs and the 350Zs uses the VK45DE as the main engine before they all now use the same 2L turbo 4 banger engine. the Nissan GT-R GT1 class does use the VK56DE but both VKs are detuned and restricted in terms of power using air restrictors. But if they are fully unleashed, the engines should produce upward of 800bhp to 900bhp NA in race trim. Mind boggling. def a unique swap to see an old Hakosuka get a V8 swap since most Hakosukas are going up in value if they are untouch and retains the old L series or the racing bred S20 engine. , unsually the VK swap is usually done to S and Z chassis, a few occasional R32, R33 GT-s/GT-st chassis mainly for drifts And these engine like some boost and just low psi of boost and they will scream up to the rev limit with stronger valve train and stronger internals with dry sump oil system.

Not 100% sure but i think the Skyline/Fuga has a 4.5L variation of this engine. Only other car ive heard of having this engine

@@AR-qq6gp Nissan Titan. Newer Fuga’s and Skylines have a 4 - 4.5 litre litre version of the VK. But they are nothing compared to the Vk56. :)
