Every S & A tier skin for victor has the same bulldog with different colours and design, so the Chinese players thought that it meant something and was instantly upset by Netease's sudden change of trend. Besides, their relationship is like the closest in the identity V lore, seeing that Victor had written letters to Wick shows exemplary endearment. That reason of not wanting to change the breed of Wick it's not as absurd as you think, so why don't we think about why Netease changed Wick into an uglier version when they can make a better or just straight up normal design?

I have a small theory about Michiko C skin. In the chinese version there a collaboration between Oppo phone brand and idv, when u type in the code you will get Michiko "Oppo" C skin a Green Butterfly pet. Her costume is also green with a small pattern on it, so maybe Ne remake "Green" to "Oppop" instead
