Skottie was such a pivotal part of my progress as an artist when I was a kid. I spent so much time on the forum from his old website that started as Ledheavy. I learned so damn much from all the people on that forum over those couple of years.

I love the right place right time stories, personally. Gives me hope that I could make it too I discovered Skottie from his Oz books, started following him on DeviantArt back in the day. I love his gnarly loose style, when I found him I felt like I found Jhonen Vasquez's light side twin 😂

Lol I'm doing the same thing for tats; my drawing arm is the art stuff that's influenced me. Skottie seems so cool to hang with. I was sold on I Hate Fairyland when I saw the 1st issue on the stand in bold saying "Fuck Fairyland"
