There wasn't much to do in the sky except travel from one island to another (and most of the islands didn't have much) That being said, I did enjoy the sky. But I'm just the kind of person who doesn't mind just flying around not doing much.

Perhaps, this detail was intended by its creators. Ponder this, if you will, that the sky is meant not to be the true home for the humans. In fact, they belong on the surface, as they were merely sent to the heavens by the goddess to seek salvation from Demise. The true wonder and awe of the game must be found, as it is, on the surface.

Honestly, I don't understand what is _so_ wrong with this game. The dungeons are amazing, the combat is the second best in the series (I don't need to explain what the best in the series is,) and it has a really good story. Do people just hate on this game to hate on it or are there problems that I'm missing? And before you say it, the game being linear is not a real problem.

@@BowlOSoup6661 the combat is absolutely terrible, the controls in HD did little to help those terrible sword swinging controls. Really the only game in the series that isn’t just a hack and slash aside from overly gimmicky dungeon items is tears of the kingdom, which for a 20 game series is unacceptable. It’s design is also too linear, making it feel like an overly glorified 2d game trying to act like it’s doing something novel and grand.

Skyward sword is FAR from the worst game in the series (zelda 2) and you cant tell me it’s worse than that 😭 To be honest the motion controls would be good if Nintendo actually fixed nunchuck drift or the shitty sensor bar and that’s not the games fault. Sure it is very linear but everything up to BotW was linear as well. The items in the game were pretty good too and as you said the music is reaaaaally good in this game. It might not be the best one but it’s definitely not the worst..
