I'm sorry, I wanted to watch this video, but I had to switch off after 15 mins as I just don't understand your point of view. I'm a Will Smith fan, but there is no excuse for violence. And Will's delayed apology came too late (that soliloquy while he accepted his Oscar doesn't count). Why not use your words to express yourself after the ceremony as opposed to your fists! Chris Rock's joke may have been in bad taste. But comedians in Hollywood make bad jokes, push the envelope and ridicule their peers all the time. Every comedian does that and Hollywood stalwarts like Will and Jada should be able to handle it without resorting to violence and expletive filled outbursts. I agree Will's actions were not a result of that one comment. But my theory is Will's actions have nothing to do with his history with Chris Rock, but instead are a result of his state of mind and the state of his miserable sham of a marriage, which is clearly taking its toll mentally and emotionally. He needs to admit his marriage is over and get some serious counselling. And you're wrong, Will was clearly laughing at the joke! Also you imply that Chris has asked his brother to speak on his behalf. That is an interesting perspective, because your opinions seen very rehearsed and "researched". I am inclined to believe that Will Smith's camp has reached out to Hollywood Unlocked and briefed you. I could be wrong, but it appears as if you are acting as covert spokespeople. I agree with you 100% lol. Will’s apology was forced. It’s evident that he was told to apologize because people were upset about his actions. Even his Instagram post’s caption revealed that “we got dressed up to choose chaos”. His actions were WRONG! No one can convince me otherwise. Like many other people, I didn’t even know Jada had alopecia because, as you said, I’ve known her to have short hair so it didn’t concern me. Will’s book and weight loss video here on KZbin shows a different side of him. He has deep-rooted insecurities and is always trying to prove a point.
