Lore Time🎉 In true Ogre fashion, I will add my own embellishing flair to the story. Skrag was once the head Slaughtermaster of the Tyrant Bron Rockgrinder. One day Skrag made the mistake of presenting the Tyrant his most favorite Goblar servant roasted on a platter. It is speculated if this was actually an accident sense that Gnoblar was an obnoxious little shit. Enraged, Rockgrinder grabbed Skrag by the wrists and ate both his hands, had Skrags Iron cauldron lashed to his flesh with meat hooks and threw him into the caverns below the mountains with his butcher utensils. As a large boulder was moved to seal him in, Skrag wasted no time affixing a hook and cleaver into his bloody stumps to prepare for what was soon coming. The Ogres fear these caverns for good reason. They are an extremely harsh and spartan people, Ogre babies that are born small, weak or sickly are discarded into these caverns to die. But some of them survive either by carving out their own survival or being adopted by those who came before. These are the Gorgers, feral subterranean Ogres with animalistic savagery. With his makeshift weapons Skrag barely survived hacking and slashing through the Gorgers with little chance to rest under his cauldron for protection. Eventually the big boss reveled itself, challenging Skrag like an animal asserting dominants. Skrag was out matched from his wounds, fatigue and hunger so in a desperate move, lunged at the Gorger boss and tore its throat out with his teeth! The other Gorgers did not disturb Skrag as he dined on their old boss, for HE was the boss now. Fueled buy bloody vengeance, Skrag gathered his strength and a large number of Gorgers, taught them to obey some simple commands, and made his way back to the cavern entrance under his old tribes camp. The many Gorgers combined strength was able to push the rock away, and let the slaughterfest begin. The cavern entrance was poorly guarded and the Gorger hoard poured into the grand feasting hall with Skrag leading the charge. After a bloody violent battle, Bron Rockgrinders guard was slaughtered and the Tyrant was boiled alive in Skrags new favorite accessory. The rest of the tribe accepted that Skrag was the new boss without trouble, as is normal if an Ogre defeats his Tyrant. In celebration, Skrag threw a feast where all would eat Tyrant stew along with all the other Ogres and Gorgers that were killed in the battle. As Ogres and Gorgers ate, drank and made merry, Skrag stood and began to sing a ritual ballad to dedicate this grand feast to the Great Maw. All in attendance sang along, even the Gorgers tried to grunt in unison. Than, as Skrag bellowed the final note, witch shook the halls, a feeling of divine energies rushed through his body, his wounds from the battle healed and a voice in his head spoke to him. Skrag declared himself the Prophet of the Great Maw, and ever sense, he has received visions from the Maw to carry out its bidding accompanied by the Gorgers who know following him will always bring fresh meat.

To me, the ogre kingdoms and Nurgle are the best additions to Warhammer 3 so far. I can't wait to see what they do with the chaos dwarves and whatever else they end up adding in the future (Dogs of War? Pirates that aren't undead? Dwarves that ARE undead? Lionheart: what happened to your hands? Me: * a learned slaughter master * He cooked his tyrants favorite gnoblar and he had both skrag's hands chopped off and he ate them in front of him. Then had him banished to the caverns where they threw undesirable new born ogre whelps which is where he fought the leader of a clan of gorgers which is how he gained their respect and eventually their loyalty. He lead them on a quest of vengeance to devour the tribe that shamed him. Regurgitated by the maw itself some say.

I think the reason it turned into a crushing defeat is because in auto-resolve it just rushes your army at the enemy so the speed boost my have made the auto-resolve have some units hitting the enemy army before any support arrives to back it up leading to your army being takin piecemeal in the auto-resolve's calculations where as a person would obviously keep the army together to strike as a whole.

At least they actually "cook" the meat before they eat it.. Though I am really interested in seeing a Ghoul King/Strigoi legendary lord in a narrative campaign. It'll be interesting to see how they see the world like it's completely normal while they are feasting on the flesh of the dead and living. Your accent is cracking me up in this one, it sounds like you're saying "Ogre Balls" not "Ogre Bulls" :D The big downside to both Strigoi/Ghouls and Yhetees (at least lore wise) is that they'd never chase after fleeing enemies.. they'd stop to eat what they already killed.

Lionheart eat the Skaven next and then hit the empire the Skaven deaths will allow you to attain another province and get you closer to Marienburg which is rich and therefore perfect for you to raise the army up plus it gives you the big settlement(I think right?) which will allow you to get the gorgers which though debuffed since the last update are still pretty tough

Gnoblars are mostly trash. In the PvP version of the game, you could use cheap Gnoblars to tie up powerful units while you sent your real units to go crush your enemies, but in the campaign, points-value doesn't really play a factor. Leadbelchers are your ranged unit of choice, those Gnoblar ranged units are very meh.
