I have been playing a artificer 5 gunslinger 2 (can't wait for my 3rd level soon) with Int as my gunslinger ability. It has been absolutely fun and a blast. It is set in Eberron and fits so well into it.

I snagged this class from HeavyArms a while back and after playing it in my friends Waterdeep campaign, I can attest to this class being awesome. Everything is so useful and amazingly done. I’m always excited to play as Stitch!

This sounds a lot like the Pathfinder Gunslinger, and that class is really cool. I'd love to do a "wild-west" like D&D game. I didn't even know this publisher existed!

Good day! I'm curious. Does this class have an ability where you can fan your revolver? Cause fanning your weapon is just the coolest.

I think the closest thing to fanning would be one of the feats created for the class to attack as a bonus action.

I really like this subclass! I'll try to convince my DM to let me use it in a future campaign since I already used Critical Role's Gunslinger on a One-Shot we did a while ago. The only thing that I kinda don't like in this subclass is that you only get one extra attack, were on CR you get 3 as you are a fighter subclass, but with this class you get more customization and flavor!

Awesome, I'm glad you like it! I hope your DM approves it. I'll cheekily add that I wouldn't get 3 attacks with the CR Gunslinger Fighter if my firearm backfired ;) :P

I am multiclassed into the gunslinger, but it has made my character really shine alongside the other players in damage. I only have two levels but it really feels like a mini battlemaster that gets to crit so much more. I have never felt like it was too over or under powered. It is different enough that everyone at the table loves it while it also performing well.

I love this class, all about criteria and grit, I have a half-elf enforcer gunslinger I played for a short campaign and he was fun. While almost all of the classes features are combat focused the flavoring and thematics of the pdf, especially the quote at the start of the pdf, really helped to give me a feel of how I could roleplay a gunslinger. The idea of the gunslinger being, no fancy tricks, no fanning the hammer(that actually would damage a gun in real life), no firing from the hip(you should always aim down sights, you won’t know what your actually aiming at otherwise), just practical experience, a bit of instinct, and good aim, the character that resulted was a rather calm, observant, and battle hardened mercenary who never made it seem like he was shaken outside of private talks with the party and never told a lie. Also a tip for low charisma characters if YOU have to negotiate with an NPC just be unflinchingly honest and lay out facts, especially if you can back said facts up.

I entirely recommend people play this class and I'm glad you enjoy it! Its grounded, gritty approach is appealing and easy to use.
