The Slot in Anza-Borrego

One of my favorite places in the world! We hiked the Slot in the opposite direction, starting from the FWD hill that I (wisely) decided not to take my rental Ford Expedition down. Wish we had known about the wind caves. Ah well, next trip!

How do you get back to the parking lot? Is it the same route? How do you pass when there's someone coming, especially in the narrow parts?

Well, I think in a slot canyon that you can't climb out of, it is pretty obvious - return the way you came in. If someone is coming the other way, you wait. There's not many people and there's not many narrow sections, as you can see in the video.

We walked the canyon rim back to the car. Not as interesting as the canyon, but great views.
