I've just started watching this but I find it odd his own partner wasn't with him??? He had a partner for the day,,, not even sure what that is. But I do see that when this new partner explains what happens he acts like he is crying and screaming Sean's name but there is not one tear drop from or around his eyes. None of this makes any kind of cents right now. And why didn't they do a real investigation??? No pictures, no forensics, and people walking all over the crime scene. They didn't want this solved,,,
@jasminehill6312

Right! Because Bomenka was a rookie and wasn't his usual partner. The case they were on at the time of his death wasn't even his!!! It was Bomenka's!!! They absolutely didn't want it solved because they planned it!

Seans blood was inside the barrel of his own gun and the fatal bullet came from his gun.. His partner had to have somehow used Seans gun point blank to shoot him in the head while not being covered in the spray of blood from the head shot. It has to be the perfect hit job or the more logical idea that he might've felt or been compromised. If he was killed that is one of the most bold and brazen murders with the context that he was to testify the next day. Sometimes the truth is simpler and harder to accept than elaborate open ended speculative theories that try to make it deeper than it actually is.

I don't know if he was dirty, but my question is how do you get the type of information they will put corrupt cops away for decades if you weren't somehow involved? The fact that he was killed on duty, a state police investigation was conducted and the FED'S wanted no parts of it...tells us that this corruption ran very high in the City and possibly the State governments. Not just within the police department.

Independent reviews of the case found that Seans blood was inside the barrel of his own gun and the fatal shot being from his gun. Unless the killer somehow used Seans gun against him point blank and ran away in 8 seconds without any dna or a trace, Id say the truth is pretty clear. If it was his partner (Bomenka was a rookie) he would have blood sprays all over him which he didn't and i doubt he was some elite hitman that could somehow avoid all traces to him while avoiding any sort of heat from murdering a witness that was to testify the next day. Id say the truth is much simpler and not part of a bigger conspiracy, Sean killed himself from feeling the pressure of the arrests of the task force. Imo Sean might've unintentionally been compromised and wanted to save face by being seen as dying in the line of duty than being viewed by the city as associated with those POS cops.

@@zippymufo9765 I just finished We Own This Town and I agree with you, for now. I am hoping this documentary explains more. For them to "set him up" does not fully make sense to me when most of the officers that he was testifying against already told on each other... But at the same time, these were corrupt officers and I do not put anything past them. It would just be a bit too convenient that his partner did not see anyone either ( I doubt he was in on it)

Bomenka get The Hit on Suiter. Whether Suiter was also dirty or not @ some points in His career , I have no idea but would not be surprised and it makes the most sense. The Man is Deceased now so I’m not going to say more than that , just that idk but it makes sense. I do know that He was killed by His fellow officers because He was going to snitch and really the only way You know enough to talk is to actually be involved in some sort. Now , it could very well have been that He only did something’s because He had to , because of You don’t do dirt as well then the rest of the Police Force will not trust You and for Him to make it 18 years in Baltimore He definitely had to do some dirt , but He may have always wanted a way out of it so He could be a straight up Good Cop but once You go over that line there’s no coming back , so when He decided to talk that is obviously enough to get You Done Son. So is being a straight up Good Cop in a Shady PD. That will get You killed as well. Very strange He happened to be with some Partner that wasn’t His usual Partner and then He gets shot and that Partner sees “ Nothing “. That white partner Bomenka set Suiter up It was planned , He new exactly where & how He was goin to do it That’s why they were on Bomenkas case and down in an area He had been working on another case. Perfectly setup. Definitely not a S_________. I know that much. I’d bet Your life on it that the new white partner for that day is THEE MURDERER.

But why would bomenka set him up? Bomenka wasn't involved in anything correct? Suitor was going to testify against the ones already in jail. O saw a clip that had det. hersl implicating Det Gondo in the set up. One this for sure. He was set up and hit was put out in him, and no one in dept seems to want to uncover the corruption.
