Alan Hunton Nearly 60 here, and this is a band that would have slipped under my radar because I'm mainly a rock and metal fan, but heard them on XS Manchester and was blown away. Have everything they've done now, and saw them at Manchester Cathedral for the first time. People mention they sound like this and that band, but I've listened to the bands they're supposed to sound like, and they do nothing for me. SRC have great melodies and lyrics that really stand out.

This gig was the 1st time I seen The Slow Readers Club live and I'm glad I made the trip down from Scotland . The gig was outstanding / off the scale

Loving listening to this at work right now, I saw them twice at Portsmouth Victorius festival, the first time heard their song playing as I went over the brow of the hill and though "wow, whoever they are, they sound amazing" so went to watch their set and was instantly hooked. Went back the following year just to see them play there again. Such amazing energy, shows the power for music and how it can lift you.

This band is amazing live, one of the best live bands that are around at the moment. I'm a huge fan of these guys but I'm Also a massive fan of music so there are loads of bands over the years that I've said of the same. And there Is so much out there that I've me very heard yet but these guys are the best live band at this moment for me anyway. This is the closet I will get to them unfortunately 🙁 because of my health, so Thank you guys for sharing this, filmed beautifully. Love & peace xxxxx

I saw them support James when they were down to a two piece acoustic set for the night which was okay but nothing special. Luckily they were joined by two members of James for the last song which got my attention so I checked them out further. Loved them since.

fab band, but I saw them last week, and the whole gig was following a pre-recorded backing track, with the musicians playing along...this doesn't really allow for any spontaneity with the crowd, and no chance of an encore. If the singer can't sing and play keyboard at the same time, that's fair enough, but they should get a session keyboard player for live gigs, in my humble opinion.
