Lovely Mororhome. By the way, that is a clothes Rail under the bed and i also think that little shelf is Genuis, its a dressing table(my wife would love that for her hairdryer and products)!!!! Given that most family’s are 2-3 children i slways think its a shame only 4 seat belts… need 5 families (or grand children!!!! Ps love the videos. Thank you very much 👍🏻👏👏

This one's for you Alan 🙃 Can I have a say about it? I'd be ready to forgive its weaknesses if only the price would match... or vice versa. It's a nice looking motorhome and probably decently assembled but there's no substance. You'll surely find a submersible weak water pump like the most basics of motorhomes, no syphons for the sinks, no exhaust vent for the grey waters. You can certainly get an extraction hood but that would command premium. Anyways... closed foam dual layer aluminum panels: that's just marketing chit chat. Have you ever seen installing an external patio tent on a motorhome? It takes around 15 seconds of grinding (with a drill bit) to blow hole in a FIAT Ducato panel van chassis. E.g. A PÖSSL van. It takes around 7 seconds to bore a hole in an all-resin (and fiberglass) construction coachbuilt motorhome. E.g. A Trigano VDL coachbuilt. It takes approximately 5 seconds or less to bore a hole into these wonderful dual layer aluminium panel vans. E.g. Buerstner, Hymer, Carado... It's like the Three Little Pigs fable... would you build your house out of a haystack ?

I don't know what to say Tobias. You spotted a motorhome for me - well done but the toughness of the shell is something you clearly know much more about than I do! Certainly a good subject for a video but I don't feel qualified to do it.

@@VanlifewithAlan don't get mad at me Alan... you probably already know my pedantry on details knows no bounds. I am far less qualified than you are concerning motorhomes. Cheers!

Is the ability to withstand a grinder for longer than 5 seconds a requirement for a motorhome? Personally I prefer less weight, but that's just me 😁

your weight calculation is not correct. this one's ready-to-go mass is 2818kg WITHOUT the added equipment. So the approx. 3000kg ready-to-go mass includes the configured extra equipment.

Well designed and looks as if it is well made. Is the conversation too up market for the Fiat it sits on? Certainly one for the wish list though. Thanks Alan.

I think Fiat is OK, there are some much more expensive motorhomes on a Fiat such as Niesmann Bischoff or Carthago!

Nice one. Sensible bathroom. Lots of storage. When my ship comes in. Did you resist getting another dog, Alan?
@VanlifewithAlan2 жыл бұрын
I don't think there will be another dog Amanita! Last week, in the ruins of a town bombed to pieces by the Russian army, I saw a dog that looked just like Tosia, even had the same dodgy rear left leg that she had. I followed the dog until I met people who knew him, they told me that the owners had disappeared - either escaped, taken away or killed. They told me that the dog was being looked after, in any case it would have been difficult for me to bring the dog back as I was not travelling with my motorhome. There are homeless dogs all over the place in Ukraine, some are very friendly.

@@VanlifewithAlan oh Jesus Alan! That made me cry. I miss my boy so very much and would love to be able to help an abandoned dog. It sounds awful in Ukraine. My heart goes out to all of them. I feel so helpless. 😪

@@amanitamuscaria7500 I have seen some really horrible things Amanita, last week I was wondering how this would change my character. I am haunted by the visions of what happened to the civilian population in some places and the brutality of those that occupied Ukraine. There are packs of dogs running around in some places, others follow one around, however even in completely smashed up localities people leave food out for them, I have seen people buying cat food and then trying to entice cats out of the ruins with it. It is all very sad.

@@VanlifewithAlan I find it hard to imagine....it must be awful and will definitely traumatise a person. Cruelty overwhelms me. Great review, thanks. Is it just camera angles or is that driver seating position quite far back? Could be because all I drive is buses now 😂 but I’d happily have one of those.
@VanlifewithAlan Жыл бұрын
It could be the camera Jack - there is distortion to get as wide an angle as possible.

Who is buying these smaller motorhomes and then squeezing 4 people into them? I would think that the target market for smaller vans is couples, ie only one bed required? If you have kids or friends, maybe get something bigger?
@VanlifewithAlan2 жыл бұрын
I agree but looking at it from a marketing perspective I understand. The manufacturers are not selling RVs (!) but dreams and the people who buy are older and who , because they did see much of their kids when they were growing up, think that the grandkids will want to come with them so they buy an extra bed just in case. After 11 years living in a van, I can assure you that that is not the case in reality but reality is not being sold, it is the dream. I know that is not the response you wanted to hear but I am giving it as it is - someone who was not in charge of marketing of a company may see things differently!
