This map was juuuuuuust a bit too small to get the little ponds in the middle to generate consistently in a circle. Still kinda works, maybe there's room for changing terrains in objects generation to get them precise. A few extra tiles would give enough space for everything, but that's the challenge in making these.

The map was extrelmy masty-sided with a lot more space for him, but emus tower was a giant waste of time directly next to yellows wall, obviously it was going to be vil rushed, i thought they learned that much in the previous 7 matches where that happened at least 4 times lol.

you should do 100 cats, or CatMicro. 1v1s or 8 FFA. Everyone gets 100 catapults and they have to fight it out on who has better micro. Quickfire games. Tourney mode. You could do 32 competitors 1v1 and winner advances until its the final on who will be crowned. Lemme know if you do it and I'd like to play because I gave you the idea. (Although I suck)

emu threw that imo, the pointless battering down buildings with villagers all through dark age and fuedal put him so behind it was impossible to stay in the game. If he wanted to do a fuedal fight, he should've gone into man at arms with GOTHS. Not fight with vills.

It's a little disappointing that the players kept doing the tower-rush/castling strategies instead of trying archers. I agree that the archer strategy can be more powerful and I think it's also more interesting to watch because it's more dynamic and aggressive than towering or castling. EDIT: I'm eating my words, this game was good at aggressive.

you absolutely cannot sit in fuedal on these small maps. Mangonels and knights are so powerful, I think sitting in feudal and wasting time on stone to tower is worthless.

I am very happy to see that Masty has learned from the previous games and found a way to deal with Emu's aggression. I understand Emu's strategy and decisions, but games have gotten quite repetitive with Emu walling Masty off and tower rushing him. I would have really loved to see Masty wall off the forward lumbercamp in the beginning, which ended up getting battered down. Other than that, very well played despite all the action across the map!

It's intentional and every one in the series is like that. The only reason this one looks different is the edge has elevation and trees, so it blocks more of the word. You may have different preferences, but it wasn't a mistake.
