What a wonderful example of excellent design, engineering, manufacture and installation! These professional engineers installed this complete self contained parking module in just 5 days, which in itself is quite remarkable. This clever system will alleviate many parking space shortages for businesses and communities. Thank you for this inspiring video!

USA used to have them in the 30's (if I am not wrong) . How come that we can find them in just a few places in the world? They are sooo functional...

What if the motor movement is converted to be in alter directions. It will reduce the shear stress on the structure.

A fairly simple mechanism. I'd be interested in knowing the price to build and maintain. It might be cost-effective in an area where parking was at a premium.

Fuuuuck that was my degree project my last year of college.Mine was hydraulic with capability to recharge electric car...the idea was rejected simply because the city would lose money from parking tickets NYC
@josephthomas87865 жыл бұрын
If it was your original idea and your degree project of your final year of college and it was a hydraulic one with a recharge electric cars. And even if it was rejected by your college professor who may be holding a pile of certificate but a dumb ass in the wild of business. Why the hell did you except the rejection in the first place. Why didn't you approach some finance company or an investor or group of investors. You owe yourself an apology and not resentment dear. Wish you luck in the near future. Hope you have learnt a lesson from your own mistake.
@josephthomas87865 жыл бұрын
If you ask me, I feel your project and the idea was and is a far more better idea till date. Don't give up on it. Keep trying. Who knows one day you may succeed in building such an improved version of the mod l shown in the video.

Very clever, but look at big picture... Central cities in Europe focus on public transport and cycling. Get the car out of cities, people to go in. More liveable!!!
@nobodysreview61375 жыл бұрын
Kind of a good idea but only so many cars can drive in congested areas, more parking will only make congestion on the roads worse. Try walking instead. Also, what about when the power goes out or there is a malfunction with your car up their, less is best, maybe for sporting events or some type of specialty thing this would work but for everyday, painted line parking spaces will be more reliable.

wich dimensions are needed by the tower? i mean 4 x 2 metters(or feet) or how many? the system could be programed by automatic payment by coins or bills? also could be programed with own software by"tiket lost", you provide the software to get down the car, and all the system by remote office?

I love the concept but have to wonder if it's not more cost effective to build a concrete garage on a bigger plot that doesn't use motors and power. I understand that defeats the purpose but I just cant see this taking off
@ji60505 жыл бұрын
Already is. People have 2/1 in home blocks. Sure beats parking issues 12/2. 👍
@josephthomas87865 жыл бұрын
If you love the concept then don't doubt it but bring up more ideas to improvise the design. Initially it won't be cost effective but, in the long run it will be cost effective as it becomes more popular. As far as you can't see this kind of projects taking off is the reason that you are not a businessman, an investor or a future visionary. You need to have a vision of the future to see such projects take off.
