I preordered one. Yes, it has all the issues. Yes, it was expensive. Was it worth it? Yes. Will I buy another one once the price drops? Yes. It scales perfectly with Figma.

It's only worth the price if you're a hardcore FF7 fan. It's shouldn't be more than $70

how is the quality for the other ff7 bring art characters ? i saw quite a few videos where the cloud figure sorta broke ...

Thank you for the suggestion of waiting instead of buying it right now. I'm planning to buy this for my Super Smash Bros Diorama Display also, It's perfect especially in scale, the face is a bit too cartoony but that is fine. I wish they make more in scale Cloud, maybe for Rebirth/Remake also since the only other choice right now is the Kingdom hearts version of bring arts but it's really not the Smash Bros version so... I guess I'll wait on this one!

First off this figure looks amazing, practically they took the orginal art and pulled it out of the paper. However Bring arts is such a scam, $130 for a figma size figure that only comes with 2 pairs of hands, their weapon, and 2 heads that dont look all to different? Like bro i can get a figma naruto for $30 that has twice the amount of stuff then any bring art figure and at 4th the price. Like damn square enix be spitting in our face with those prices

I think the issue is the US price. If you buy it in the US it's 130 + shipping and tax, making it 150. In JP stores, it's 73 + shipping. At worst, it's 102 usd. 50 dollars LESS. That's what I did and bought everyone other than my initial Tifa purchase.

As far as the NFT thing goes, they offer both options, ie. the figure itself or the figure + NFT. I have no clue why anyone would choose the NFT option, but at least we have the choice.

Didn’t SH Figuarts at some point release Kingdom Hearts figures@@ryanlevack9361 ? That’s also a Square property so perhaps there’s a chance, although I agree there isn’t much hope for FF7

FF7 is too popular, people will buy it for full price 😭 I bought mine from a local anime store for $50 off and I was simply happy with that discount!

I hope you’re right about this one dropping in price. I need this guy for the Smash collection but cannot in good conscience justify spending 130 bucks on him with how little he comes with.

I suppose end of the day, long as the bottom line is not affected, it will be business as usual for that toy company. I think it's pretty competitive these days for any toy company producing figures. A couple of years back, I bought a BROToys (BMS Berserker Barreta 1/12), and that figure offered so much more, & still cost less than this Cloud. I was really happy paying that price, & getting a cloth-goods figure. I was hoping they would do a couple more FF7 characters, but that figure turned out to be the only one (cease and desist probably ?). Currently, the toy company that seems to give the most bang for the buck seem to be Jada Toys. Bring Arts is, unfortunately, I think, at the other end. Sigh .... But Final Fantasy 7 was really the only Final Fantasy game I played growing up, & humans would pay a lot for nostalgia. So, I PO Wave 2. But, after seeing so many reviews of Cloud, I was seriously bothered that almost all toy reviewers acknowledge the "limbs falling off when you move it a little too much" issue, or that the figure is great to look at, but slightly worrying once you start to fiddle with it. At that price point, it is really not acceptable .... For the last few days, I been agonizing over whether to PO Wave 3. I suppose ultimately, it all depends what you want with your figures - if you are mostly just displaying them, & these characters brings back wonderful memories, then, these figures are still certainly worth getting. =)

I started with the Play Arts Kai Remake figures and to be honest, I’m increasingly tempted to sell those off in favor of these Bring Arts FF7 figures. Yeah, they're less than half the size and cost almost as much, but my goodness, do the Bring Arts look fantastic and that alone makes them worth it , compared to the PAK figures, which just don’t look as good.
