A good adjustment for this game for next time could be that both player on the team roll seperatly to create some strategy between who rolls and moves on risking getting a worse character and both players need to reach the end to win, means we could have something like poppt stays on Lucina while hopcat keeps rolling to the end

I'd say a potential way to keep it moving is that the winning team moves 2d6 and the losing one moves 1d6, that way the game keeps moving and there's less likely to be one team running wild with it. I'd also suggest opening with both teams rolling 1d6 to determine the first match potentially so all characters have the chance to be played
