I hate how people only judge how Billy Corgan looks. In my opinion he still looks like a babe and a half. Even with his belly and shaved head he is absolutely beautiful and he sounds just as great as he did in the 90s.

Why does everyone pay Billy out ? How do you expect a singer to still sound as good he did 20 years ago ? I saw them a few days ago with the new line up of musicians and they went off ! Billy can still rock out better than ever and sounded amazing... So what if he's got a big gut and looks like shit, this man can still rock !

Yeah it seems like a lot of the ferocity from the old days don't appear on the new music and performances much. None of the new material has any aggression that the old music has. Even the quiet songs and humble songs had some type of feel to them. Even Adore. None of their new music is provocative or in your face anymore. I did like Oceania but it's not the same obviously. I'm not saying write another old album but at least use the power behind those albums on the new ones.

That moment when you realize that the bands you've been listening to for years and years are made of actual, real, people, who have aged in the background like real people do, and that song you've always liked is now over 20 years old. That the artists don't perform like they used to, can't hit those high notes, can't jump around, because they have aged, and have gotten heavier and lost energy. And then you realize you yourself, are also 20 years older, and just as bald and chubby as they are. You don't realize where the years went, and you feel old.

whatcha talking about, Billy hired musicians half his age, he doesn't look that old and hasn't lost his energy, he's never been a spastic jumpy poser on stage. He went bald at 27, he gained a lot of weight in the last few years but fat makes anyone look bloated and laggard no matter what age. you on the other hand sound like a sad grandpa. Billy is doing great, he's as immature as ever, brilliant and wise as he was in the 90s.

I'm the type of SP fan that prefers them to dig into the archives and play forgotten, deeper tracks, and leave the hits alone at this point, but this rendition of BWBW is special. jeff, mike and nicole are supporting perfectly and clearly "into it". the band is tight. the complexities of the song really come through, unlike many times i've seen it played, where it sounds more like a cover band just playing the few key chords. this is how it was intended to be done.

They haven't played it at album tempo since Mellon Collie came out. I guess playing it at a break-neck speed is their way of finding enjoyment in a song they've played a billion times. Check out their acoustic version for another interesting spin on this song.

If Billy didn't care what you thought of him in the late 1900s, he sure as heck doesn't care what you think of him in the early 2000s. There used to be this genre of music called alternative and Billy's band was one of the best in it. One of the cool things about alternative music was that you didn't have to look a certain way to play it; long hair, short hair, no hair, it didn't matter, the music you made spoke for itself

Seen them live, seen tons of videos online, still wondering if he is capable of screeching growls like 95 era or if he really has lost his voice from year of screeching, which would not surprise me.. but cant really decide if its lack of pissed off youth rage or just years gone by mellowing out. Know what I mean? ..

I was going to say something about Billy putting on a lot of weight recently, but then I remembered that I'm also chubby (good-looking, but I'm still chubby). Later, I was going to comment on how his voice has lost some of it's gritty angst from the Porcelania era, and then I remembered that everytime I sing along to BWBW I never manage to make the scream as epic as his; and when at 3:10 he managed to rip that primal scream out, I thought: Billy's a Demi-God, no bastard on Earth can critize him.

Seeing several complaints about the tempo being too fast. Have you guys just never heard SP live before? They always play songs faster than the studio versions. Just check out the live version of Fuck You from the "final" Metro show in 2000; they shaved off nearly 30 seconds from the original run time!
