The things we put up with just to get a ride in. I don't know if a strong gas smell is something that is normal, and a lot of decel popping, I think I'd just have to be depressed and not ride. I know it's not fun on a ride and your bike just ain't running right. Been there, done that. You will get them both squared away and this problem will not ever be a problem again. Thankfully you're going on a vaca at the ocean!:) Stay safe! Peace

Great ride John I wish we could go without a helmet here in Georgia I reckon that's why I like Florida so much the only time I wear a helmet in Florida is if I'm on the highway 75 or 95 I love to feel the wind through my hair haha if I had any hope you have a good evening

Dang, that's bad when it stings your nostrils while riding! When I got my Vulcan 800, the gas cap seal had hardened up, so it didn't actually, you know, seal. It would spill gas down the side of the tank and onto my jeans all the time... and still didn't smell all that bad. Good luck, man!

What kind of mic do you use? The setup I am using still picks up alot of wind noise.

@@jdreyno1958 On short back road trips it's just a clip on mic nothing special, I don't remember the name of it I'm out right now I will let you know when I get home what brand it is , It does really good while wearing a full face helmet..

@@MotoBaumVirginia when you put a power commander on it you have to flash the ECU and delete the pair valve and there's only a couple of people in the country that do it for that particular bike I might have it back the first week of October unfortunately..

FIrs time I've seen someone riding without a Helmet out on the road, I presume helmets are not a legal requirement there. Hope you get the fuel issue sorted. Cheers

No it's not in the oil it's from the pair valve it's at the shop now getting the pair valve delete ECU flashed and retuned,, Thanks for watching and commenting 👍👍
