THE SMELLIEST POOL EVER!!

A big transformation for this pool! Not sure how long it’s been left for but it sure did smell really bad!! Stage 1 (the clean up) is done!
Now for pipe repairs and the surround of the pool to be renewed!!!

It kinda looks to me as if the pool was abandoned during building, look at the half-finished retaining wall with the rebar sticking out and stacks of blocks waiting to be used!

looks like the pool is an indoor pool but they stopped building the walls. Kranzle jetwash works well with the turbo nozzle on. the pool looks like its never been used looks new now. nice work.

He's got all the right equipment to do the cleaning and you have the know how to get the pool running. I'm sure some of those guys that do pressure washing can share some tips and ideas on a small time set up for jobs like this.

Nothing more beautiful than a tiled pool with concrete now that is luxury that never fades or dies.

Rather than a vacuum for the final half inch of water and debris that the pump won't lift get yourself a pressure washer venturi pump. This pump uses no moving parts only water pressure from the pressure washer and can cope with debris including leaves, silt and stones etc. As part of my work i look after a number of very large ornamental fountains and the venturi pump is a life saver for cleaning these out and will pump right down to the ground level.

you boys need to get yourselves some tall fishing waders. I can't imagine how much muck gets into those boots as you clean the pool out. It may not be sexy, but full body rubber is better than black sludge in your socks I bet. Amazing job in the end as always!

I've watched a number of these pool cleanups and transformations but one thing in most of them always strikes me curious; why the decks are often the last to be cleaned when it seems that this should be the first thing to clean up? Why go through all the trouble to clean a pool but leave the deck uncleaned to only clean it later and then potentially pollute a clean pool afterwards? Why not just power wash the deck first then clean the pool next? Since some the power washing of the deck may wash into the pool, at least when cleaning the after power washing the pool, you only have to do it once. To me, that seems like the logical order... that is, unless I am missing something. I'm not a pool washer or cleaner, and some insight into this would be good to know.

Right, so some tips here for if I happen across an enormous lottery win: 1) Sloping bottom pools are easier to clean. 2) Tiles are easy to clean. 3) If you can set the pool on a hillside, install a giant drain plug that goes to a clean-out area and thence to drains without an intervening water lock; your pool cleaners will thank you for making life easier for them to clean it out. 4) If possible, feed the pool from a natural spring to avoid huge water bills. 5) If possible, put a roof over the pool.
