I heard the full album last Tuesday at the Wall Of Eyes On Film-event in Amsterdam and I won't spoil anything, except to say that it was a blissful experience that I enjoyed very very much. Very. This video is a gem btw. And funny! Thom is such a happy camper now. Who would've thought, 25 years ago. Hurray for old age. And psychedelics.

I agree, but I would be careful about giving psychedelics the credit for a growth a person experiences. Psychedelics can help for sure in the right context, but there's also great risks to any mind altering substances. From what I've read in interviews, Radiohead are on record for saying they don't dabble in drugs (aside from the occasional drink and pot). I would credit mindfulness meditation before psychedelics. All that being said, it's very nice to see Thom has found some peace and appears much more at ease and happy these days.

As a primary school teacher, all of these facial expressions and involuntary movements are deeply familiar to me. We were at the premiere in Paris with my 17 years old daughter that became a huge fan of Radiohead and Thom/Johnny work. As her father was at the same age in the early 90's when hearing them changed my life for the better. We were there literally 3 hours before the opening for the sweet sweet tape and merchs, NO ONE could be bypassing us for this (and hell no one did) 😅 Hearing for the first time this album, and discovering this clip with her next to me DEFINITELY HITTED SO SO CLOSE TO HOME ❤ I will never forget this moment, and can't wait to see you again in Belgium in march with her.

The screening event wasn't a single film, it was a combo of a bunch of things - some exclusive behind the scenes footage (no audio), of the recording process, full album playback in surround sound, the premiere of the video for Friend of a Friend, and screening of a few other pta x radiohead/thom collabs, including Anima.
