MY grew up torned with a lot of emotional scars & bcoz of that he buried any feelings of sympathy , empathy deep down casting them off . So when JK replied I pitied you he couldn’t comprehend why would someone harbours empathy at least not expecting it from JK which he thought she would have at least understood him better and both shares the same feeling and thoughts . Perhaps also the clueless and non emotional being of MY turns into shock least expecting the reaction he gets . He would have at least thought JK would be pleased to hear that he likes her too. Just as how he played out with other girls . That sudden change of expression from MY was executed so perfect . Seo In Guk is just unbelievable in his acting capability. I wondered why I’ve missed out seeing him in the past . Also I think he wasn’t even sure if he really likes JK as he’s asking her for confirmation to convince himself as he’s no clue to even how he felt . All these seems strange to him . The like feeling could have been not the relationship type at least not for now . It could just b he finds JK fascinating, shared same past , so he feels connected to her . That feeling he could have like on JK instead .
