The Smiling Critters Are Still Alive In Poppy Playtime Chapter 4

Poppy playtime chapter 3 had a crazy scene when Dog Day half eaten explains that the other Smiling critters were no longer alive. In today's video we breakdown what happened to all of the smiling critters and what it means for the future of the franchise.
Catnap and the prototype have always had a weird relationship but how does it play into the story and the hour of joy? How does the ending explain what we will face in poppy playtime 4? Why did the smiling critters want to stop them and what happened to them when they got in the way?

Im ngl i feel like ppl dont realize that its highly unlikely that the smiling critters will be the main focus in the next chapter, every chapter moves on to introducing a new cast of products/characters in playtime co. As much as i love the smiling critters, ion think the devs want to stay stuck on them because they arent the main focus of the overall story. Unless the devs come to comply with the fans desires instead

I think the only smiling critters that could be alive is bobby bearhug, catnap, & picky piggy. Bobby & piggy are the only ones that dont have an ending to their dialogs. Crafty corns doesnt either but picky piggy clearly says she ate her, bubbaphant & kickin chicken. Its possible that catnap isnt dead bc the red smoke causes nightmare hallucinations, i was shocked to see prototype doing the killing blow because he hasnt been killing the other toys. Only collecting them after they have died.

Spoiler for the new book. In the new book they released they've stated that most of the other critters didn't actually do very good. Bobby bearhug themself is named alongside a picture, stating she can't stand, can't speak, and doesn't even know she can't speak. catnap himself falls victim to the voicebox issue. Assuming DogDay was the last critter made a bigger body, the rest likely either didn't get a chance to survive, or just simply got killed by catnap. I doubt unless it's a corpse or a cameo the other critters will ever appear in game as a bigger body unfortunately. It's a shame they made such good characters only to never show any of them.
