I think this particular Smiths song might be the most popular of the Smiths for these times. It took about 30 years for 🎵 to catch up this sound starting late 2000s.

Morrissey was and is amazing and has the most unique and recognizable voice. Much respect to you for reacting to this bruh!

This song was relased in 1986. The Smiths are often regarded among the best bands ever, so congrats to you, sir. Their song "There's a light that never goes out' is widely regarded as their finest moment.

So many good Smiths songs to react to. Try Paint a Vulgar Picture. Reell Around the Fountain. Unhappy Birthday. There is a Light That Never Goes Out!

That's the only song I love but god it's a really great song. They are pioneers of rock n roll of the 80's. I'm a death metal fan, but when I heard this song in the Bumblebee Transformers movie it was a mind blast.

I've never been huge on the Smiths, but the first four lines are genius.

I’ll help you to get started with The Smiths, because a goldmine awaits you. I got introduced to them about 20 years ago, and the songs were There is a light that never goes out, Girlfriend in a coma and Heaven knows I’m miserable now. Go dig, friend...

I will certainly check them out. Thanks for the suggestions and thanks for watching!!!

Fun Fact: Joan of Arc never owned a Walkman or used a hearing aid. I enjoyed the creative license Morrissey took with history and he's said a lot of controversial things in his day. I've loved him since 1985 and the band are on fire with this one.

@user-ob7zw7qr5o Its called a sense of humor. You should get one. Morrissey also knew that hearing aids didn't exist back then, but he's a funny guy. Humor is part of the charm of the Smiths. I hope that isn't lost on the no-fun allowed crowd.

The Smiths can be hit and miss, but there's no denying that Johnny Marr is a super talented rhythm guitarist with some super catchy folk licks.
