The peoblem is FSU wants a divorce, but the ACC doesn't want to give them one and insists FSU continue to share the same bedroom. Not a healthy situation for either of them.

It seems like you guys forget how dirty ESPN played the Big XII when it played nice. How about the Big East? All of those ACC schools you just mentioned in important markets got dumped before. Also, last year the ACC was 1 vote away from being dissolved by its member schools, so don't put this all on FSU and Clemson, half those teams aren't for the status quo. The Big XII has survived by becoming aggressive, hiring Brett Yormark, and becoming a predator instead of prey. Remember how sensitive the ACC and ESPN were about ANYBODY seeing their contract? I'm not sure that discovery required in the suit isn't the primary reason for this series of suits. I think this salvo of legal action is part 1 to recon the contract and the legal defense. The 2nd part will be to exploit whatever faults that were exposed.

one thing to add is that FSU signed the extension in 2015 because if they did not, they would have to face legal action from the ACC because they would have been in violation of the original contract. They could have fought that in court at the time because the ACC was in neglect of the original contract by not negotiating more money, but they could not afford to take that to court at the time.

Well we definitely were not crying for them to stay. We don't want schools who don't want to be hear that's why Cinn, UH, BYU & UCF were such a breath of fresh air. 4 more partners actually excited to be here and work together.

Fsu is playing the villain while Clemson is getting looked at with kids gloves on! How can teams leave the ESECPN or B1G with NO PENALTY but the mediocre ACC have the highest punishment for its clown school conference. I can't believe no one sees this dog and pony show!
