Well one might think by watching this scene that CSM was a low ranking member of the syndicate but actually I think he fooled all the syndicate members into believing in alien colonization crap and then have them killed by the so called faceless rebels to have the chance to create the superhuman William

Leandro Aude yeah...it's true but I think Carter just lacked of ideas on how to finish this mythology..he just screwed everything by dismissing alien colonization...he could have come out with more ideas about the new syndicate continuing with CSM legacy...instead of bringing him back to life and then have him dead with no state of purpose..

Leandro Aude good article...the only thing it was worth to see was William's destiny and Scully and Mulder having a child...and also a couple of episodes that were great...the rest was like more Iluminatti conspiracies plot...and Alex Jones stuff...well in my opinion..
