Pretty sure the Springfield and the kar98 are essentially the same gun in this game. Same bullet physics and damage drop off. The only difference is that the Springfield has a 2/3x scope (i cant remember which) and the kar98 has an 8x scope. Quickly aiming with the kar98 can get jarring due to the increased zoom

Big tactic as sniper become one with the nearest bush, most bushes don’t have collision so you can stand in the center and be really hard to see.

If you see a halftrack spawn truck, clear the wave and push up to it, being right on it prevent spawning until you can get an anti tanker to come.

@@duke_revna6404 Each to their own, and its not as boring as you think because it'll become a mini 360 defence objective where scores of enemies will pour out trying to kill you and clear their half track, good way to learn where their OPs and Garrys are if you survive long enough. Much more fun than spawn killing IMHO.

Vice, I give you and anyone brave enough the Ultimet chalenge. Play RSV2 as rifleman and get a kill while in Woodstook mode( hard drug mode, you can find it in settings and video). You have to kill the enemy with you rifle. To go further and be ascended chad, do it with mosin(did that today actaully). But I shall give some leavey, you can use bayonet. Using bayone you reach galixy level of chadnes. It is hard as hell, but beutiful, especialy when you see artilery. You are ONLY allowes to use riflemens primary. Grenades, traps don't count, MG would be too easy, and sniper would just be mazohism.
