Laura, I loved this video when I came out - and I find myself watching it again today on April 18, 2020 in Boston, Mass, US. It is very strange indeed for us to have snow this late in the spring - and during a pandemic as well. Instead of being upset to find snow outside my window this morning I wanted to ask what messages the frost fae had for me today. So happy this video is still here as a resource, and I hope you are having some slightly warmer days in Glastonbury. Many blessings!

There is something really magical about a completely silent winter night where you can see the stars and the snow sparkles! Really I took that as fairies teach us to be polite to each other, you never know when you might cross paths with an otherworldly creature.

You have such a beautiful teaching style, bless you! You give off such a nurturing, joyful energy, I really appreciate your making all of these videos.

I really enjoyed this video. It was a treat to come across a person (Laura Daligan) who presented the material in a warm and personable manner. She has obviously researched her subject well and has gained a fan. Thanks, Laura. Blessed Be

-40C here where I am today in Canada..brrrr! This video is very fitting for tea on a day like today (indoors). I very much enjoy your videos. Thank you. Hoping to take my 6yr old son on our first cross country ski adventure together this weekend through some forest trails, thankfully its supposed to warm up a bit. Being out in nature when everything is snow covered is very peaceful, magical....and quieter somehow. Looking forward to what stories and images my son and I can conjure up while skiing about Father Frost, the Snow Queen and snow faeries!

May I respectfully add, that Mother Holle had gone on to become Mother Goose! And her tale kept alive this way as well.

What a lovely setting Laura and such a delightful and magickal video!! We are in the midst of a very similar snowfall here in NY as I write this, and I happily greeted the snow sprites as I commuted home from work earlier this evening!! Thank you for all of the wonderful information you share with us! I look forward to your next video! Bright snowy blessings )O(

First of all, i have to say , I am so glad you are back making regular videos. As for this video...so lovely! I am not a fan of winter ...and am moving to a winter-free area of the country in a few months...but I agree that snow has such magickal properties.
@Witchfromthewoods12 жыл бұрын
That was nice ;) Frau Holle is also connected to the aspect of the underworld goddess who protects the souls and lets them rest before they return to life on earth again. I think that fits perfectly to the snow queen fairy tale. So lovely to listen to your soothing voice...

Thanks for this video! I am only drawn to faeries when it's autumn. I want to bring more magic into the other seasons, and this helped :) I am from Norway, so it was funny to hear about Huldra from someone who lives in another country. I have never seen a link between Huldra and winter time, but if I think about it, people from the past must have asked her for help more in the winter time, than in summer. Several people in my family (the older generation) has had interactions with Huldra :)

Those aren't faeries, love, they're people walking. You don't just see faeries walking around, they aren't physical and they very rarely show themselves.

Driving out in the snow one night the car driver regretted it. Ralph had been warned not to go out in the treacherous weather but he thought it would clear up & had an important meeting to attend.. In the end he got stuck in a snowdrift & the engine packed up. He started to shiver & get colder & colder. In the distance he saw an attractive woman dressed like the ice queen who beckoned him with her hand. She had a crown made of icicles. This couldn't be thought ralph as she began to glow & behind her in the snow there appeared to be an ice palace full of icicles. He felt himself getting out of the car & being drawn & bewitched by the ice maiden into an ice cave with giant icicles hanging like stalactites from the ceiling until he lost consciousness. His body was found in a block of ice when the weather had cleared up a bit. written by Andrew Williams on the 4/3/18/.
