So, the original is just an anomalous "regular" snoman? If others come close to it, then they turn into "flesh/snow" snowmen that birth "little snoman devils". Did I got that correctly? That's about it, yeah. Not a big fan of this SCP myself either, it feels like each part of it is a mix & match of what's in other SCPs. It's like they wrote the original idea to be just the immobile snowman but thought its effects were too similar to things like SCP-1529, so just kept on adding more.

Have you tried plasma weapons? Normal fire is simply a chemical reaction. Plasma is an entirely different state of matter. Thus it should have greater effect on them.
