The Snowy Range-Medicine Bow Peak Lakes Loop-Glacier Lakes Hike(Hike Camp Adventure) 2 Days 2 Nights

On August 5-7, 2024 we spent two days and two nights in the Snowy Range of Wyoming. On our first day, we hiked to Medicine Bow Peak. We did the Medicine Bow Peak Lakes Loop Hike from our campground, the Sugarloaf Campground. Such amazing views all around. This was a rough trail, especially going down the backside of Medicine Bow Peak to Lake Marie. It was extremely rocky and exposed to sunlight with no shade. Once back to Lake Marie, we still had three more miles to hike back our campground. It was all amazingly beautiful. 10 miles and 2300 feet of elevation gain the first day.
On our second day we hiked the Glacier Lakes Trail starting from our campsite. We hiked all the way to East Glacier Lake. We saw Lewis Lake, Sandy Lake, Brady Lake, Telephone Lakes, Lost Lake, West Glacier Lake and East Glacier Lake. We returned the same way back to our campsite. 7 miles and 700 feet of elevation gain. This was such a fun adventure!!!! If coming for the day there is a $5 day fee.

So awesome to see this hike without snow! So awesome on getting the summit, getting the summit after a fail makes it that more sweet and memorable! Those steaks sound like a perfect way to celebrate!!

This was probably the best video of the Snowy's that I've seen. Medicine Bow, the lake hikes, great. I like my ribeye medium. Been there several times and you did a fine job of showcasing it.

I loved seeing this area without snow in your video, it looks beautiful. We hiked to Medicine Bow Peak for our first time this past June and it was all still covered in snow. Ribeye steak cuts are the absolute best! A perfect meal after a long hike.

It's a beautiful area. The campground spaces can be reserved and there are none reservation spots but they fill up quick. www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/10244145

Awesome video showcasing the unique beauty of this area. We did the same loop up Medicine Bowl Peak from Lake Marie TH a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. The early morning alpenglow was breathtaking
