The phrase "Nice guys finish last" is often attributed to Leo Durocher, a famous baseball manager in the mid-20th century. Durocher reportedly said this in 1946 when he was managing the Brooklyn Dodgers. The context was a conversation about the New York Giants and their manager Mel Ott, who was known for being a particularly nice guy. Durocher's actual quote was a bit more nuanced: "The nice guys are all over there, in seventh place," referring to the Giants. Over time, this got shortened and simplified to "Nice guys finish last," and has since become a common saying, used to suggest that polite, considerate people often don't succeed in competitive environments.

Social media IS NOT FREE. The reason why so many people are not posting is because the reality is that it has a HUGE entry point. There are 6 types of forms of content and about 10 platforms. To grow, you have to be consistent and you have to provide quality, which means that you have to provide constructive value at least 3 times a week and to project it into those 6 forms of content in order to provide consistency on all 10 platforms. This means: 3 x 6 x 10 = 180 posts per week, which literally requires a part time employee that also uses AI in the process. Please stop buying into the lie that social media is free because it makes you look like a loser for no good reason. IF BEFORE YOU HAD TO PAY TO PUT YOUR AD ON A BILLBOARD THAT SITS ON A HIGHWAY, NOW THEY GIVE YOU THE BILLBOARD FOR FREE IF YOU BUILD THE HIGHWAY AND THE CITY THAT'S THE MAIN ATTRACTION FOR THE PEOPLE TO GO TO. SOCIAL MEDIA IS FREE BECAUSE YOU ARE THEIR MAIN WORKER AND THAT'S VERY LABOUR INTENSIVE. LABOUR IS NOT FREE. NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD. You could say that social media is free is you'd post any type of dumb ad and it would turn into sales, but reality is F A R from this.

💊 Understanding where people's attention is and storytelling on various platforms. 💊 The key is to stay patient, bring value, and not just extract value from the audience. 💊 Criticizes the common focus on shortcuts and emphasizes the need for genuine passion in entrepreneurship. 💊 Money doesn't guarantee happiness, and self-awareness is crucial for success. 💊 There's an abundance of knowledge about business tactics; the challenge is execution and adapting to the ever-changing social media landscape. 💊 The science behind social media, including the importance of thumbnails, the first three seconds, and adapting to platform changes. 💊 Social media success is about supply and demand; understanding the evolving landscape is essential for growth. 💊 Consistent posting on core platforms like LinkedIn, irrespective of the type of business.

This is the guy at the airport! He takes all that junk out of his pockets and throws it in the bin. Then after he gets through the body scanner, he has to put all the junk back in his pockets! He slows down the line with everyone else doing the same thing. That's why the line moves so slow! Even the TSA hasn't figured it out! If you empty your pockets before you go through the line, you'll get through faster, but who really cares about getting through the line faster? Certainly not the Airlines or the TSA!

The concept of 8th place trophies, as part of the broader idea of participation trophies, doesn't have a specific inventor or origin. Participation trophies became popular as a way to encourage young athletes and participants in various activities, focusing on inclusion, effort, and experience rather than solely on winning. This trend gained momentum particularly in the late 20th century, aligning with shifts in educational and psychological approaches that emphasized self-esteem and effort in child development. However, there isn't a single person or moment in history that can be pinpointed as the origin of the 8th place trophy specifically. It's more of a cultural development than an invention by a specific individual.

So is positivity. When I interact positively with people, they start actually changing the way they interact with me. At work people ask me what I take to be that happy, I tell them just focusing on the nice things, and my energy rubs off. I'm not naturally happy, I have a lot of darkness, I put effort into my mood.
