You spoke about yourself... you created your own understanding. Matt 6:22 has nothing to do with what you said. The context of the surrounding passages should have been your guide. But you picked your idea and ran with it. Matt 6:22 is a Hebrew idiom... a good eye means being generous and a bad eye means being cheap or stingy or greedy. Gentiles have been far too long away from us fumbling in darkness. Why did you not consult us and why after 1700 years you could not understand this passage?
