Hello. I found this very confusing. Is Jesus returning before the 'day of the Lord' or after????

JESUS is returning on The Day of The LORD, that is the day the seventh (sometimes caĺled the last) trumpet sounds. That is the day the Church is raptured, see Revelation 11:14 to the end and Revelation 14:14 to the end. Then the 7 bowls of GOD's Wrath will be poured out on the nations of the earth, then the battle of Armagedden will take place, then CHRIST will sit on the Throne in Jerusalem and reign over the nations for 1000 years.
