This has got to be one of my all-time favorites. The narration along with the attached score draws me in like I'm really there. I can see the dancers. I can feel the excitement and terror. I feel the hopelessness in the endless dancing. I feel the urgent need to get as far the Hell away as I possibly can when it comes to an end.

I know people have already said a lot about the music. But I guess I want to say my two cents. This was not the music I envisioned in my head when I first heard the story. I thought of a faster pace fiddler tune. However, while I listened to this music that accompanied the story, I started to realize that this fits so much better than what I had in my head. That is a huge feat! To have this eerie otherworldly sound that at first doesn't seem like it would be the kind of music people would dance to death with but then as you listen you can see and just imagine the twirling and spinning of bodies... Incredible. Very well done and thank you for the amazing music and the amazing story

I listened to this story MONTHS ago and i wanted to re-listen, thinking it was an hour+ long story. The fact that its 20 minutes is incredible because that means my brain was so inundated with all the stimuli this video had (the voices, the music, the writing and everything that goes with it) that i thought it just HAD to be more than an hour to fit all that detail in. But no. It was just an extremely well crafted morsel. Like one of those 100$ cake slices that changes your life its so good.

Hey dark, I always come back when I hear an exceptional pasta from you. I commented few times before on videos such as “the sound of of the fifth trumpet” , “the dead god” and my all time favourite which I listened to multiple times already “the song for a student”. This one is amongst them. And why might you ask ? Well simply read your comments all of the people here touch on one or the other aspect singularity such as “tact” , the harmony between the music composition and the narration, neither one of the other intrudes onto each other territory e.t.c. I have been satisfied with “all” of your videos. But it so happens when you manage to produce pure gold, and I simply want to say... “well done” tis is a beautiful narration. One that now sits amongst the other 3greats.
